  1. make sure you use a good NTP server to grab the correct time. and as @draconus said, root cause is likely the motherboard CMOS. though this can also cause the motherboard not to "remember" other settings like drives, RAM settings, etc.

  6. review the 8 pages of this post. they are working on it. seems to me that avoiding the servers (if it is possible) that exhibit the error is the best bet at the moment.
  7. ultimate lets everything work as hard as it can with power consumption not a worry. keeping it hidden is a question i have too. i think it is because of worries of what would happen if all pcs in the world have this set. a lot more power being used.
  8. hello as @sirrah said, i also have never had an issue. however i would suggest putting them in saved games. updates may whack them in the main install folders.

  11. roger. by the way. win11? have you tried to adjust the power plan?
  12. understood. so since mine works and DCS is set to full screen, thats what i would try. can you post your DCS.LOG?
  13. hello. please post your DCS.LOG from your saved games. there will be clues.
  14. hello. confused by your question. do you mean windows does not turn off display when DCS is paused? i personally have full screen enabled in DCS. if i pause DCS and come back after a few minutes the screen is off. ["fullScreen"] = true,
  15. nyet! lol. strange issue. do you have any mods by chance? if so a good start is to disable the mods and then run a repair. check this too. a similar issue.
  16. find the naming structure for that AC in the ED install folder. then replicate it in saved games. i do not have the mig so i cannot fully test. but i can coach you. C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\MiG-21bis\Liveries on my system. open this folder on your system C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\liveries\ create a folder called MiG-21bis. then paste the livery files. each livery will have its own folder. \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\F-16C_50 as an example null
  17. i have a mission that was released with the P-51 "Alamo" which i have modified. i use, most recently, the F-16. most of time i do have to rake them (HIND) with the gun. i have some success with aim-9. i believe the less skill of chopper crew helps too. i have skill level randomized in the mission.
  18. there is GUI for it at gihub too. https://github.com/Benisgo/Symbolic11
  19. hello. one error i see is for a mod. you should disable all mods and then run a repair. also rename the MODS folder to .BAD. something amiss there. i ran your log thru the log analyzer. 20. hello. i put your log in the analyzer Errors The Integrity Check failed Delete all unofficial mods and do a !repair of DCS. 21. @ForceScreamers on top of what the others have said it looks like to me you are running the sim as administrator. you should not do this. the sim is looking for things in the saved games of administrator user. one example of evidence. 2025-03-26 13:18:06.688 ALERT Scripting (Main): loadfile: no file 'C:\Users\Administrator\Saved Games\DCS\CoreMods/aircraft/AircraftWeaponPack/common_definitions.lua'
  22. as @sleighzy and @Flappie stated, it sounds like AV. here is an example what exclusions you need. it may vary for your system.
  23. roger. maybe you can clear the category and then put in the macros. that way DCS will not freak out about additional axes.
