Well the thing I think about is... those weapons have a shelf life.. like they don't last forever, now you could say, when they "expire" they just build exact copies of them but.... I mean.... seems far fetched to me when your national security is at stake.

imo the F-14 raised the bar for launches, and Jiff raised it even more, its was basically feature complete at launch, few bugs, but nothing super serious. Especially in this era of no IFF, no damage model launches lol. But the jiff is pretty much a complete aircraft, couple little bugs here and there, but nothing that breaks it, just little annoyances.

Same headset same problem, its even worse when you look down into your lap and its nighttime outside.

Yea same problem with me as well boys, performance dropped by half with the pimax 5k+ and a 1080ti. The game is unplayable in both SP and MP regardless of settings. Now this wouldn't be a huge problem if I played vs AI, but I only fly in MP pvp, so I can't revert. I'll give it a week or two but I don't have alot of empty SSD space, if DCS doesn't run then its getting deleted for something else.

A few of my modules don't activate anymore. They even disappeared from my account. I went to standalone from steam a long time ago and these were all modules I had previously purchased via steam.

Dude same thing, my PG map, F-18 Mirage, and a bunch of others disappeared, they don't even show up on my account anymore.

I've never been able to get it to work via pitool either, I just run it through steam vr, it works fine if you're on standalone

I don't read these "review" sites much, I just compare specs, so I ended up with a Pimax 5k+ as me vive replacement, I'm very happy with my purchase, so happy that I pre-ordered an 8kX in the first day it was available for pre-order.

When you turn on the NVGs in any aircraft with the Pimax 5k+ on large FoV the vision of the eyes is cross-eyed, but not cross-eyed like if you are looking at your nose, they are cross-eyed as in your left eye is looking left and your right eye is looking right, and there is a large gap between your eyes where you can normally see but nothing is displayed, it is very headache inducing and makes nvgs unuseable

Can also confirm, problem exists in MP, haven't tried SP.

That would explain why vertical takes ages to lock anything.

Yea I've been having alot of fun against the F-18's in MP as well, I imagine it'll take'em a little while longer still to respect the jiff when they get the nails. Def the best EA release so far imo, and the biggest thing that needed fixing got fixed pretty quickly, the RWR and DL. The net biggest thing I would say is getting the weapons where they need to be, SD-10, C-802AK "not hitting terrain" the gunsight modes and just general bugs with selecting things with the MFDs, like how you pull up the CMS and the STBY / JAM selection doesn't work, little things but a little annoying.

I believe that the SD-10 has a a throttle-able rocket motor unlike any missile in DCS to date. But its going to take the new DCS missile API to support that kind of stuff. Once the rocket motor is throttle-able then expect to see closer to the true range of the SD-10, and you'll also notice a much higher NEZ then the maximum range would suggest.

Yea I thought the ground button was for guys seeing vehicles and ships with their ground radar and relaying to everybody else on the network. I'd love a way to turn off EWRs and some radar guided SAMs but not all. the HSD gets so cluttered you can't read it.

Hello, In multiplayer on the BF server the SD-10 sometimes just disappears from the sky for no apparent reason after fired on a bandit.

I have the new ACES II style jet seat, I was wondering is the zipper supposed to face towards me or down towards the chair?

yea if you're cockroaching in the JF-17 the frames take a huge hit, but turning off the DL MFD brings it back in line, for me at least.
