Esac_mirmidon replied to SalakauHeadman's topic in Weapon Bugs
Yep, 500-600 AGL at 450 speed should be safe enough for Air Ballute Mk-84 -

mk82, 83 bombs explosion radius too large after update?

As far as i known the F-16 and the F-18 doesnt have a way to edit HUD safe cues for bombing. The info you are mention is quite useful. Thanks. -
mk82, 83 bombs explosion radius too large after update?
Esac_mirmidon replied to SalakauHeadman's topic in Weapon Bugs
The thing i want to know is if the HUD cues below the Pipper to show you the danger zone are updated to take in count the new blast radius -
I hope those mobile RSBN beacons will be released at the same time as the Mig-29

You are welcome. Somebody helped me out also with this. It seems is only working in manual. PD: I also mean, the other way works but for ground navaids
-
I have issues also, but using the ARR-2 in CW and the manual 190 frequency in Voice im hearing the correct Essex Morse Code and the segment letter. I i use presets with ARR-2 in Voice and the manual tuning in CW all im hearing is NAV in morse and the Letters from the neartest airfield

Potential mistake in MiG-29A FAQ about R-27ER and R-27ET
Esac_mirmidon replied to quantum97's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
Even more, the R-27ER is still a SAHR missile so is not the mother of all missiles, you still need to keep the lock, against ARH you are the underdog. The ET is more a surprise missile attack with no warning, launching from below, nasty and dangerous with good range but force pilots to fly the hide and seek game, not Air Superiority tasking. -
And of course change MSAA inside DCS graphic options to DLAA
-
And is as horrible as always with straight lines like arrestor wires, antennas, fences, wing borders, etc For me DLAA, profile C-F-K with MSAA for MFDs with autoexec.cfg is light years ahead of MSAA

Current Asset Pack List (subject to change)
Esac_mirmidon replied to NineLine's topic in DCS: WWII Assets Pack
First it would be nice if ED honour this list before adding a new DLC pack. Just 8 years from the former post about adding this. Avro Lancaster Hawker Typhoon Bf 109 G-6 B-24 B-25 B-26- 105 replies

Then we need some information or values to calculate safe bombing radius to not be damaged by the blast -

Carrier homing sectors with morse codes on the kneeboard
Esac_mirmidon replied to Knubinator's topic in Wish List
You can build your own kneeboard with the images you like most. Just create a folder named F4U-1D, ove it to Saved Games inside DCS folder under Kneeboard and add inside the F4 folder as many images you want. -
The DCS manual says 2000hp engine so -8 and the left engine plaque chart says only Auto Lean for Max Cruise so....
-
The First chart is for a R-2800-8 engine (2000hp) DCS Version The Second chart is for a R-2800-8W engine (2250hp) Thats why the difference

Just seeing a Paddles moving the arms could be glorious
-
I thought you mean the opposite. Then in VR would be easier, and in 2D is just a zoom issue if needed, but the Paddles is a must iMHO
-
Well im on 2D, but VR tech will improve over time. Not having a Paddles because VR resolution limits....
-
Thats why I've mention BOTH in my first post
-
If you do the right pattern on the Groove, yes, you will see the Paddles
