It will be great (once its working correctly) to keep an eye of a single aircraft. I would mainly use it to bug my flight lead or section lead. However at the current implementation, it remains on, and frozen on the hud when its turned off. - so if you dare to use it, dont touch it.
-
ILS ? - that is not. Its shows time, but in different modes it shows various times. In this picture i believe is Aircraft Time Over Waypoint (HH.MM.SS), because its in a-g master mode.
-
its definitely a bug! Mr. Wags say in the video, at the marked time (02:46), pressing TMS up(forward) will make it a SPI. But in this case its not tracked by the targeting pod.
-
Yes, i see that now. It used to work before the patch. Im pretty sure you would have to make an FCR markpoint. Im trying to find a source that would suggest that the tgp will automatically slew to designated point.
-
press TMS right(short) to make that your SPI, Sensor Point of Interest. This will command the targeting pod to slew to that point designated on the fcr.

I think it would nice to have a list of some sort that would describes and categorize units that are in Dcs. For example which are considered light armored vehicles, because with the jsow-a thats the only thing you can destroy. it has the blu-97/B combined effects bomb ( CEB) submunitions. These bomblets have a shaped charge for armor defeating capability, a fragmenting case for material destruction, and a zirconium ring for incendiary effects. So its like the Cbu-87.

The top window is Time of Flight for the next missile and the bottom window displays the same Time of Flight of the missiles already fired. The "A" represents Time Until Active and "T" for Time Until Impact
-
Also TWS shots dosent even bother ECM, because it doesnt know you are being tracked/targeted until the missile goes active. When it goes active, at about 10 nmi, the ECM start emitting but missile switch to HOJ.

correct as is F16 Blk50 Radar needs upgrade to reality level.
TEOMOOSE replied to zanebanks's topic in Bugs and Problems
The radar actually performing as it should. Its the RCS of an aircraft needs to be update. -
Currently there's is an issue with the tgp not able to update SPI, as mentioned above. For example on moving targets. While tpg track moving target, the SPI doesn't update on the HUD and require the pilot for manual input. This is wrong. There's a similar bug report using mavericks.

Non-Cooperative Target Recognition (NCTR). NCTR function allows aircraft type identification under certain parameters. The F-16C should have this. Aircraft related data can be shown on a air to air track when you press the expand button on the fcr page, including air to air PPLI tracks.

Wasnt sure if this is answered or not, but theres the answer above.

Follow checklist ? - wait until SEC light goes out verify rpm, push throttle to idle. Works every time. Hung start is a thing now

HTS is not bound to harm. So, I have tried this earlier today, i had 2 agm65G + HTS, TGP. It all worked fine for me, target designate as usual in HAD page, TGP slew right over as the active SPI. From there i have created a TGP markpoint, and unleashed the lovely Golf.
-
TO be exact I wanted say that is confirmed by ED already days ago, but we still talking about which is cool I guess. You are a rumor thinking I have a made up manual. What gives you the right to speak about a subject and not having the right documents ? I can go circles with you all day. ..and like I said before it is something that is available to you as well. You just have to search for it.
-
Folks had problems with creating hmcs markpoints in nav mode, this what started the whole conversation. It is confirmed and you can read the manual that all hmcs marking is in the ag modes. What is so confusing about this ? The things you could do in different ways. Have you flown or learned the a10c or a10c2. Perfect example of this. Many things can be done in so many ways. This is just not exactly right. You can watch @Wags videos on it.

You trying to make a point here I get it. But in terms of procedures are totally different. You keep bringing this up and misleading the original post. I think we are all aware of what we are talking about. As stated before hmcs marking done through in the Air to ground master modes. You could do a similar marking through the HUD which is be different from hmcs marking while they both do the same thing but is done with different steps.

I have checked it myself, and they are working fine. When in override mode pages on the left MFD where you have the fcr by default, the other pages disappear, but you can put them back on with whatever you like. So I don't see anything unusual here. https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/289512-override-modes-inhibit-dms-page-cycle-smshsd/?do=findComment&comment=4853463
