If you don’t value your wallet. Search Spherical Collimated Display.

Yes, dynamic spawns I believe need to be “player” not “client” or something like that. Otherwise it’s literally just doing the same as you clicking in a new aircraft in ME with no setup. Dynamic spawns are for pickup not planned stuff.

ACLS isn’t a full autoland. By the burble you really should be flying the plane to finish the job. Super Hornets only just recently got full autoland.

You'll have to ask one of the SketchUp heads that. I can't pull anything useful into my Fusion360 without paying sketch up money I don't wanna.

Just put the made up F-35’s radar in it and call it good.

You’ll need to pick out each “piece” you want cut and lay them out flat in a new file. If you know the CNC work size you could even position everything inside their sheet material dimensions. CNC shops want ready for cut files. On the OUTSIDE!? That’s a LOT of floor space.

F-14A/B has sometimes a locked, wired up ACM when starting mid air.
RustBelt replied to Buzzer1977's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
In a perfect world, stuff like this would be in the manual. -
They won’t port their XP-11 planes to 12 and went dark there. They went dark here. They clearly understand how not to get caught in the sunk cost fallacy. Walking away is always an option if you know you can make more money somewhere else.

PAL mode locks ships instead of air targets right in front
RustBelt replied to SparrowLT's topic in Bugs and Problems
It immediately sees a giant return in its range gate and locks it again. PAL is a simple beast. It sees a thing, it locks the thing. Brightest thing wins. -
If it was Display over view I’d say yes, but the passthrough on screen stuff is still primitive and disappointing.

Pretty dead in here. Losing hope...
RustBelt replied to RodentMaster's topic in DCS: A-7E Corsair II
You’re asking me to prove a negative. I have clear evidence they haven’t said squat and have gone radio silent. Does that sound like A. They’re just so busy they can’t possibly respond. B. They lost interest and moved on, or C. Magic? -
From a developing standpoint. Come on.
-
But don’t TALK about it, don’t TIE it to a separate product or its completion. Assets should be completely independent of Module products.
-
I don’t know why ED indulges these fly by night vapor devs. They build for one sim, and it Ain’t this one.

FI has seemingly abandoned anything not The Operating System Flight Simulator. They walked on all their XPlane stuff just like here. Went out for smokes and never came home. Too much money in Micro$$oft. -
For reference, the CE2 with an AEIO-360 4 banger, at 200HP is at less than HALF the power of Sean D. Tucker’s 400+ Hp Challenger IIi. They aren’t what people think of these days as an Unlimited Aerobatic monster. It can take 9+ G so it’s “Unlimited” but it’s not a powerhouse. The 1:1 or better power to weight ratio planes should more accurately be called “Super Unlimited”. The CE2 still needs to rely on momentum. You can't hang it off the prop like some of the planes now days.

If DCS ever truly became a full virtual battle field, the S-3 would be useful for sub hunting. But yea….that is NOT current DCS.

Because it was in a video like 2-3 YEARS ago when. Syria dropped. To ED it’s old news.

The Legit Discussion for PTID on the F-14B and late F-14A
RustBelt replied to SkyhawkDriver's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Not couldn’t, they had gone on record saying they wouldn’t. And “Officially” according to HB themselves, they still haven’t said they WOULD make it. It was just sales puffery (actual legal term of art) in the Hype video. -
You know the secret to fixing that, stop ever promising it. There’s plenty of modelers out there who can pump out AI. FF devs shouldn’t even talk about AI external only AI flight model. How many all white vaporware planes have we seen at this point across DCS? DCs isn’t exactly hurting on model makers. I mean, I assume ED is paying for assets. I prey the module devs aren’t just doing this work out of the goodness of their hearts. Given that even Nvidia can’t figure out how to add more VRAM, I’m all for lower res base model. 4 and 8K textures are getting insane.

*** AI J-35 Draken AI coming to DCS World!! ***
RustBelt replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
The “And Beyond” always does a lot of the work in These videos. Yep, perfect is the enemy of Done. -
You gotta provide actual data not pictures. I’m sure buried somewhere there is a pass-fail specification for the Tomcat’s gun. Find that, reproduce the test as best you can in DCS, and then go from there. keeping in mind that the new F-35 DCS is less…..mmmm concerned about perfection.
