It’s checking because other than SHTF ROE, you never trust the datalink to perfectly correlate with what your radar sees. Jester runs a more restrictive ROE than you want to play. It would be neat to dial that in on the fly. But, right now, that’s what Jester do.

You lose resolution doing that. Say you halve Y+ now you only have say 1000 increments to cover the limited travel and not say 2000 increments (i have a weird headache so can’t lookup actual 12 and 14 bit axis numbers, but you get the point) Put the screen closer, that’s way too far away. Better field of view, better readability. Just forward of the panel would be ideal.

Ooo extrusion in place of DZUS rails, smart! Needs a goose neck the real stick has a displacement from the pitch axis to get it back and out of the panel. Unless you’re using the actual mechanism, you need to adjust your stick situation to fit the grip in the place it occupies IRL. Each stick base being diffrent. Work from the top of the wrist rest DOWN to solve where the gimbal base goes. Also don’t be surprised if it’s tilted slightly forward or back. As long as you have full authority, it doesn’t matter.

Yes full OFP321 includes HUD and JDAM. As well as CDNU and GPS from OFP320.

Meaning it’s a Light feature, meaning it isn’t an easy fix because dcs cockpit lighting and the F-14 are barely on speaking terms.
