  1. I do, both it and the ALT one yet it still feels like it's on, even after a full roll.
  2. Is there any sort of special command/switch I need to use when turning Autopilot off? Every time I use AP/ALT, after I turn it off I don't have the smooth control/flow of inputs I do before using it, even after going outside the AP limits. The pitch/roll inputs just really seem too "mechanical" after using it. I know the Nosewheel steering command sets the AP reference, was wondering if anything "cleared" it I guess?
  3. It was either make/release the free Stennis to accompany the then flagship F/A-18 or have it take off from the Flanker 2 series Vinson model that we still have and is totally fugly. :)
  4. Seeing as an EA sale is planned for February 2020 according to the newsletter, would it be possible to see just what area(s) are covered by the new map?
  5. I'd love to see them upgrade that Flanker 2 Vinson model to the current Stennis one.
  6. I must have missed that, haven't seen anything on ED updating the current Stennis at any time at all.
  7. Will the new Kuznetsov be under the same restrictions as the Supercarrier module? Meaning, you have to own it to takeoff/land from it. If so, how's that going to be handled in online missions? Will we have to have two Kuznetsovs available now?
  8. February 5th, place your bets. :D
  9. Reports have gone from it'll be right after Supercarrier to after the Arleigh Burke and back again a few times. They ARE remodeling it, just might not be as soon as people want. I'm betting we'll see it this year.
  10. Hoping the Kuznetsov doesn't get pushed back again. They've had a new model of it in the works for a couple of years it seems, and even showed it in a video or two. I'm thinking the Burke we seen in the trailer got pushed ahead of it to finish the DCS: Supercarrier package. :/
  11. I'm more worried about us running them down on the deck than anything. I figure a lot of folks, myself included, are going to have to learn how to move around on a loaded carrier deck. Plus, if you fly online, you've already seen that Three Stooges movie daily on most servers, on land or at sea. :) YouTube will be full of "DeCk CrEw MaImEd" videos the first week I bet. :D
  12. I do believe it's been said they planned on having it some time, don't know if it will be at EA launch or not.
  13. Thanks. :)
  14. Is there a command/way to undesignated a target while in TWS? As in clearing any targets being tracked?
  15. If a pool's starting, I'll take February 5th. :D
  16. I'd imagine we'll see the full spectrum of deck operations, given they've taken the time to develop communications for Case I/II/III, as well as the barrier net.
  17. I think anyone expecting DCS:Supercarrier to be anything but a full priced module is going to be disappointed. No idea what any Hornet discount will be, but you ain't getting a $25 carrier, sorry to tell you. The market's been set higher than that.
  18. This is a MUST now, with the deck crew able to salute. At least by the time it's out of EA, 2025? :D
  19. An A-6 would fit nicely into DCS's pretty dominant naval simulation position with the upcoming Nimitz module, the Hornet and HB's own Tomcat. Jester, maybe Boxman by then... :D ...can sit beside me.
  20. Do the models have lower level LODs as well?
  21. I'd prefer if you didn't own the carrier, you can't interact with it. :smartass:
  22. So, ED should make a diminished version of the Supercarrier that only the people that didn't buy Supercarrier can still see and use online, without all the "graphical goodies"? One that would require more network code to identify if you own the carrier or not, from the same network that has me crashing into a plane parked beside me on the current carrier at least once a day from sliding around? Sure, why not? :D
  23. If the deck crews have those lighted signals, I see every server online going to night operations soon after the release. :D
  24. Thanks, I really hadn't paid attention and seen any Harriers on the Stennis. Good to know, too. Mentioning the Vinson, I think a good idea would be to copy the Stennis and replacing the Vinson with it. Give the World another free carrier to mission with. Besides, I believe that's the same Vinson I shot at in Flanker 2.5 years ago. :D
  25. Totally a guess, but I would imagine you'll have to own the module to interact with it, no matter what plane/helo you try. Can you refuel the Harrier on the current Stennis, curious as I've not seen anyone do it?
