  1. Haha! There's my old cover again =) I was actually thinking of making a new one for FC2 the other day. I'll let you know if I do (don't get your hopes up!)
  2. Looks very nice! TrackIR-compatible or is the view panned around with the mouse in the videos?
  3. Again you take on the tedius tasks and perform them admirably Frederf! I wish I could rep you more
  4. It seems there is in fact some interest in flying together from some of my arma2 clan members. At least two (three including me) people would be pleased to be flying with some other scandinavian friends sometime soon! (would have to be after my exams in two weeks though...)
  5. At least me and Panzertard came to the last scandinavian meeting ;) btw i'm still interested in flying with some more scandivian peeps. Been trying to motivate some people from my arma2-clan to get out of their offline-habits and have some fun together, mostly without much luck =(
  6. That happens if you try to enter a Ka-50 position from the wrong product - in this case most probably Flaming Cliffs 2. I tried it out just today and that is exactly what happens if you're trying to use a flyable not available in the current product. Example: You start multiplayer for Flaming Cliffs 2 and try to enter a Ka-50 slot. NOT FLYABLE. You start multiplayer for Black Shark and try to enter a Ka-50 slot, works! Tried it for the 104th server and it works just like this edit: sniped by Panzer ;)
  7. Thanks everyone! I've been looking forward to this and am really happy it came before I have a (very) brief holiday in a couple of weeks. Will be enjoying ED products for a long time I reckon. See you in the skies as they say
  8. On my X52 Pro that wheel is just an emulated mousewheel via the Magic Mouse drivers (i.e. exactly what panzertard is saying; it is not an axis and will not be recognized as such)
  9. Still no luck for me flying FF5 with nVidia graphics on Win7 64bit. Just never works out for me...
  10. I've also been using Caps Lock for years on end now. It is well suited since it is near the left-hand position on the keyboard and thus very reachable. I've been experimenting with other keys and actually tried scroll lock and while that works very well for simming, it does not work very well for regular voice-chatting with friends or fps/rts-type games. I always ended up reverting to caps lock all the time so I figure why even bother. People don't mind me typing all caps anymore anyway ;)
  11. Being cheap I only pay for one of the lesser services, but I feel more than satisfied (especially since I'm only paying for 24/10 and get more than that :)). It'll be fun coming back to this thread in a year or two ;)
  12. You've been able to put the window-buttons to left for a while now, it's just new that it is the new standard. Ubunutu is a very good operating system imo, use it on my non-gaming computers. It's a very good workspace environment I think, especially for my line of work (Bioinformatics).
  13. Maybe you do not play in full simulation mode when you play single player? Check your controls in the options menu and make sure the small drop-down box is set to "Realism" and not "Game". Also, check in the gameplay-tab that you have checked the Simulation-checkbox and also the "Use these settings for all missions"-checkbox. Hope this helps, gl!
  14. Isn't one of the main reasons for having a detachable stick grip to make it easier for people to put them on long shafts so you can use them in your custom cockpits? It's the first thing that springs to mind when I read that anyway. Note I haven't got a clue about anything thrustmaster-related (Cougar) since I'm currently satisfied with my x52 pro ;)
  15. Nice read and sweet models SuperKungFu! I'm real proud to have sitten in a SR-71 cockpit standing next to a real M-21 Blackbird at Museum of Flight in Seattle, WA. It felt awesome and everytime I read something like this article my mind wanders away =D
  16. Cool, then our incredibly lucky hit in Arma2 some weeks ago wasn't that unreal. We were left completely without anti-air and one guy in our group scored a lucky shot straight through the front canopy of an attacking Su25 =D I played around some more today with BS and hovered in front of 10 hungry AK-shooters. I guess I must change some of the statements I did before. They seriously crapped my helicopter up - no vital systems except the Shkval were damaged though. A lot of the panels on the sides, a part of the tail and bullet holes a-plenty. Still, I could fly the bird safely back home without problems, so they are truly a nuisance but nothing particularily dangerous...
  17. I've been doing some low (we're talking 1-1.5m) hovers in front of AK-47 infantry in the game to test this out and they don't do much damage. They keep shooting and shooting but I would say it's quite unlikely that you'll be bothered by those =)
  18. That is exactly what I felt about it when I got it home the first time. But it grew on my and now I really like it =) But first impressions last, hope you have better luck with your next one!

Hoppas du hade en go' födelsedag!
  20. I posted this a very long time ago, might be a bit hard to find but a good search does the trick! ;) http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=619181&postcount=5 Good luck figuring out how it works, I've totally forgotten.. =)
