Then stop reading threads that will only necessitate you into arguing with us common soup brains...
I completely agree with OP, it's frustrating to have weeks go by and be unable to use the product as intended, then to hear about the issues we will face with the Supercarrier module.
Fingers crossed for the Forrestal in the coming few weeks...
Agreed, it would be a waste of their time to work on an unarmed (for the most part) transport aircraft.
V-22s have game-changing, real-world applications, but not one that translates very well into video games.
Although this is the logical course of action, might not be the best way to do business. Why would someone buy Supercarrier if they already own the Tomcat and the Forrestal is released the same week?
Here's to hoping we get a proper update from Cobra and Heatblur this month with some news and a roadmap.
Although not essential, and I don't imagine we will see this in EA, I would like to see this as a feature for sure!
Something similar to this (49 seconds) would be awesome!
I believe there is a setting in the "Gameplay" options to hide control stick that is not module-based, I haven't used it so I'm not sure what it accomplishes, but might be what you're looking for.
How high of speed? What's your angle of bank? What G are you hitting? The Tomcat lacks any of the Hornets fancy, safe FBW control limits so it will fly very different
I don't know, when the J-15 is in game we might see something different. Not even sure if it's been confirmed the 15 is being developed. You must have more information than I do.
How will the AI aircraft interact with static aircraft on the carrier deck? Will they still taxi and launch through a row of static F-18s lining Cat 2 like they do currently?
Additionally will we be able to prevent launches from certain cats? Will we be able to only allow AI launches from Cats 1&2 to prevent aircraft from crossing the landing area during recovery operations?
Based on how 3rd parties have integrated ED's APIs such as the new Ground Radar API in the JF-17, one would certainly hope that Heatblur and ED are working in parallel to get both the Forrestal and Super Carrier released ASAP.
