i have been gifted a copy, well my buddy bought an extra key via dcs website, de associated it, for me to associate myself with it, i was expecting to activate this after the install, However i have the cant run installer on newer dcs world version problem. A support ticket has been sent. I was wondering if this is my only solution to install the uh1h ? Edit: i think i can just download dcs world again given the versions on offer (presently).

haha yes i agree, state of the bad ass art lol. that plasticy feel is possible to some degree though:thumbup:

correct, what needs to change is the shader associations and settings on the model itself. and then all the artwork for it would need rebalancing. a lot of work. what you can do. you can display more dynamic light over it and introduce a glossy effect to its materialistic nature. but thats it. its nice though, for me i dont feel like im flying in cardboard :) dont be fooled by its more vivid nature, i wouldn`t say its more realistic. all ive done here is take those specular files and brighten each individual channel if i can remeber correct. you might think oooo. it looks metallic but its just the angle of viewing of which im quite good at capturing. there is alot more going on in the image though which imo is good. its a sim and not reality although we are trying to simulate that, imo a little push beyond what is seen through photographic study is essential in such a sim as this. and i hope i am proving that playing with shader textures a little beyond reality can produce more realistic results in a simulator environment.

there is folder called a10.zip that contains all the a10 related textures. i drop my textures back in to the a10.zip for ease presently. but the shaders are not set up to create any metallic a10. ive tried. only p51 is setup in this more modern way.... sadly. even the huey is setup old style.

you have to tune the spec files to achieve what you want (and tune the diffuse in conjunction with them) A look at the bare metal spec files should give you some insight into doing that. (but the concept of what is possible is not there) the spec file isnt 1 texture file, it is 3 texture files combined together. each file contained in the colour chanels, red, green and blue, edit on these channels only and you can make shiny textures. red is used for the light power green is used for the light width and blue is your reflection power. Using white to create powerfull areas and black to create areas where these effects are knocked out. ie not being used. ahh crap. thought u ment p51 for some reason, got that on the brain at the mo, soz.

wow, this game has some sort of something extra to it , seems to be a dynamic campaign.

Why doesn't elevator trim wheel move in real time?

painfull to read the responses. first and last time i have anything to do with that pretend sim thats apparently ok because they dont have enough money to do realism. and also very bad because you, Bucic doesnt work for them with your expertise. thats a bit on the laughhable side for responses. -

i kinda would like you great folks, to stop, take hold of the reigns and carry on. complete what already is. and perfect what already is perfectable. but i know there is obviously alot more going on under the hood in preperation for the future. this is not really a grumpy post lol. -

the image could come with the track it was recorded from. to ascertain proof in the pudding etc. Make it a context only competition on some occasions.

nice post all the same Silver Dragon. its given me some ideas for some situational modelling for the ME itself. for.e.g. the crashed car scene where the only access is some confined space for the chopper to land etc lol. (will the fuel tank explode) or find the sinking boat last reported 1.5 miles of the coast 30 mins ago (check wind)....SAR.... bad weather.

, i dont like the company idea. seems very ToH, its distracting from the flightsim expereince too much too imo. just some means and abbilities that can introduce real world routines that are non combat. and study sims around this eventually. ive always wanted to have somthing that can allow me to sort of survey the land for purpose. even in combat, there are some feature rich non combat roles. i remeber going out on CAP patrol in enemy engaged, no combat just taking pictures of the enemy lines or whatever. but that intel being usefull to next mission. i know that points to EE having a dynamic campaign directly. but in basic terms it could still appear very dynamic if further scripting was introduced. i also wish DCS had some scripting input abbility like what arma series has. it thats sort capability that can allow the imaginative ideas to come to fruition.
