How to limit number of maps (select some and skip others) that dcs updater brings along with initial installation?

it doesnt matter which map your server uses, you have to download them all regardless ..... it is the point of this thread

TRK playback does not work outside of maybe the first couple of minutes, it is a long running DCS joke

+1 to this, it also effects Syria map which annoys me

go to c:\users\your username\saved games\dcs.openbeta\ backup config folder

It would be great is some of the larger persistant MP servers would publish their mission files (with the lua code to make them work) publicly

that is a pretty good idea , maybe size / date timestamp checking or some mission file hash to see if mission on server is exact same one u already have ?

check dcs.log for clues

I would not be surprised to see too many UK based servers, the price of server hosting in the UK is urine extractingly high

I guess for me its the fact the ED used to refer to the two version as Openbeta or Release Then for some I guess marketing reason they decided to "re-brand" release and call it "Stable" to make it sound better ?

+1 for this very sensible feature to be implemented EDIT: Had a quick go at this using notepad++ and it is possible to set everything to hidden on MFD in about 2 seconds using search and replace search ["taskSelected"] = true, replace with ["hiddenOnMFD"] = true, ["taskSelected"] = true, Tho make sure you dont have any hidden at the moment or you will get dupes

Yeah my olde server was 2008R2 windows server and I had to upgrade to 2016 windows server after I think the 2.7 build of DCS came out
