  1. I placed some template units ... a LOT of units on the lower right corner of Syria Map now I can now longer access them , how do I move them ? There are loads off map now ???????

  6. Yeah this stuff is controlled server side by the config file, I have most switched off on my server as it is annoying AF
  7. The master server can be anywhere in the world. fixed that
  8. Ah cool, so there are multiple ED login servers we can use to do this ? Just curious as there have been a few outages over the years that effected a lot of people No longer is there a single point of failure ?

  12. If you’re starting out or looking for information, please read these first and it might be worth doing some basic Lua tutorials. No use getting frustrated by jumping into the pool without being able to swim.   15. He means like years ago ED produced higher quality manuals that had a contents that you could click on for quick navigation, eg ka-50 or A-10C and the new manual ah-64D
  16. it is a DCS bug and has been like this for years, there are several threads about it eg
  17. you only need one install of dedicated server you use the -w switch to set which folder to use eg DCS.exe --norender --server -w DCS.openbeta_ca so on first run this will create a new folder named DCS.openbeta_ca in saved games and create some default config stuff in there you will need to edit DCS.openbeta_ca/Config/serverSettings.lua for your set-up You will also need an autoexec.cfg file as well (in same folder) and you will need to edit this as well ( I attached an example one) SRS, you will need seperate installations with edit config files to use different ports autoexec.cfg
  18. putting none playable items that should be part of the core game was not a great idea ED should have done WW2 CA and charged customer to "interact" with the ww2 assets and for everyone else who just wanted the assets available for mission etc would have been fine
  19. I have been trying to use the ADF to tune to radio beacons (CSAR troops) but I cannot seem to get it to work, are there any issues with it you are aware of @Kinkkujuustovoileipä

If you want to give ED more money its super easy, buy some extra copies of Maps or modules and give them away to other DCS flyers Its a WIN WIN situation, YOU help ED fund development and other DCS players get FREE stuff Let me know when you are ready to do this and I can throw you a list of which things I am interested in receiving for free
  21. You can create a script that re-starts the the beacons every so often , or try using MOOSE
  22. they kinda do this themselves these days when advancing and moving toward enemy inf, 4 man fire team , two are firing while two are moving , two moving stop start firing other 2 guys move forward

  24. Is the real simulator grip compatible with virpil bases ? Which version of VPC software are you using ?
