Maybe my problem is not holding the trim button while I move the collective?

With them on, I trim frequently. She is stable, but I find it sluggish. With the channels off she is surprisingly nimble. I think I enjoy it more.

Taking the advice of real helicopter pilots, I decided to try to fly the Hind with the AP channels turned off. I have a WinWing Orion Stick and throttle and the TFRP rudder pedals. I usually fly with the yaw channel off anyway. Last night I tried with all three off and after about 10 minutes of flight, it seems to be much easier to control with the AP channels off, especially landing. I flew like this for about 2 hours on Enigma's server. I then went back to having the pitch and roll channels on and it seems sluggish compared to having them off. I think I'll continue to fly with them off.

Similar to the option for the KA-50 to adjust the horizontal location of the HMD reticle, it would be nice to have this option for the Hind.

Don't blame us, blame Dassault and Mitsubishi for naming aircraft similarly. The F-1 and F1 are different aircraft. Words and speech mean things. That is an FJ-3.

The WinWing Orion has a hard detent on the throttle. 79 Puts the hard stop right before it lifts into AB.

Adjust the detent. Launch an instant action mission where you are already airborne. Test the AB detent.

Never tested it. I don't recall reading that the nozzles must be fully forward to fire weapons. When I get home this afternoon, I will test that out.

Receive mode is the function you want. It cycles through the different settings. Change it to "player's communications". RShift+M or RShift+\

I am more pumped about this aircraft than I am about the F-4 and the F-15E. Don't get me wrong, I am still going to get all three, but I will be opening my wallet faster for the Mirage F-1.
