When I set the range to automatic for the gun with HMD as sight and then switch the gun off and on again, the range is set back to the default 1500/3000m range. Is that accurate? It's really irritating me. Same with rockets.

How about: ME, place apache, set hot ramp, click fly, check switches. That would be faster than me making a pointless track.

From the manual And also density is 6.5-7 lb/gal. Considering it starts off at 660 lbs, I think it's 98 gallons internal. As such I calculate that 98 * 100% / (156+220+98) = 20.67%. So full fuel without robbie should be 79.33%

Pressing the fire push button should disable fuel flow, oil, hydraulics and other combustibles to the engine. Yet the engine just happily keeps on spinning and using fuel.

I'd like if you could change the FCR/RFI removal into a special loadout slot, so it could be changed in the mission with the radio menu. When you get around to adding the extra ammo, it would also be nice if that was added to the loadout. You could add an extra slot or two on the left of the interfaces similar how the smoke is done for other aircraft, for example on the F18 there is a special SMK slot. I am also not sure if you can fly completely without any auxiliary tank or ammo. It would be nice to have that option, since fuel endurance is pretty good as it is and you could save some weight that way. I'd also be nice if rearming hot could be done normally, but installing/removing the tank/ammo/FCR would require a cold aircraft. -
That's illegal. You can't talk about battery life (time) and then say 9999m.

How did you get a hellfire to stay in flight for 7 days straight? Especially considering that the apache has only been out for 3 days. If you pulled that value from some file it probably just means that the battery will not run out within a reasonable engagement time (so it probably lasts at least 2 minutes once off the rail)

When the rotor blade shake effect is occurring, the magnitude of the shaking is very high. I tried setting the cockpit shake slider lower in the special options, but the effect is not changing. With the effect going it's impossible to click anything. Considering you can very easily press a keyboard binding, I don't think it adds much aside from nausea to have it this badly shaking.

When you are in multicrew and the pilot calls for rearming, but rearming is not possible because you're nowhere near a FARP or Airport, then the CPG weapon screen shows no stores loaded, while in fact nothing happened to the aircraft at all. Rearming at an airport or FARP, or re-slotting fixes this.

When starting hot, some switches are not set correctly. 1. CPG -> INT LGT -> Primary is off, should be all the way up 2. TSD -> UTIL -> Doppler Radar is off, should be on 3. CPG -> WPN -> UTIL -> Laser is off, should be on 4. A/C -> FUEL -> C AUX is off, should be on I suspect, but have not tested, that exterior fuel tanks are also not set to be used when loaded via ME and starting hot.

There is a big performance hit when TADS is underlayed on the pilots MPDs, for example on weapons. I usually get 15-20 FPS, which is not great, but flyable. With the video I get around 12 FPS average, at times dropping to 2-3FPS randomly, for a few minutes even, then going back up to 10. Measured with the FPS indicator (right ctrl+scroll lock, or something like that), but feels more like 1 frame every 2 seconds while flying through the mountains northeast of sochi. When turning the video back off it's fine again. Windows 10 AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Radeon R9 380 32 GB, 4x8GB, dual channel, 3200MHz DCS running off M.2 SSD, saved games on normal HDD

investigating Engine RPM stuck at 210% after getting shot

I got shot in engine #2. I shut it down by pulling the power to off, then I hit the engine 2 fire button and the fire extinguisher #1. I flew back to an airfield and wanted to repair. they wouldn't let me repair with the APU on. I turned the APU off after applying external power. They still wouldn't let me repair. I turned everything off. And still nothing. Engine page said 0% everything. but external view said 210% engine RPM. -

I'm flying multiplayer. I fly long sessions and tracks would be large, besides I don't even know if they exist for multiplayer in the first place, or how to save them and where they would be located. I am not part of your test team. I told you what happened, how it happened and I'm not going to hop in and try to reproduce a bug by getting shot by AAA and them somehow survive to go back to base for the next 5 hours so you get a short and small track file. Here is how to reproduce the bug. 1. Start multiplayer session 2. Man pilot seat 3. Man copilot seat 4. get shot by AAA in such a way that the copilot dies 5. don't let the aircraft die 6. fly back and land 7. repair 8. copilot is now not dead any more, but can not press any buttons or use any controls I do not know why you need a track file to understand that. If there is a/are track(s) of yesterdays session(s), I will gladly send it/them to you and let you search through the thing yourself. Because I will not watch 10 hours to find out when the bug happened. -

If you want to use the TADS screen but still use your helmet sight for targeting and you find the video overlay irritating, you can turn it off like so: 1. Select HMD as sight 2. On the TEDAC, press the BRT rocker switch down a few times 3. Select TADS as sight 4. ??? 5. Profit! You can now set the acquisition source to GHS and slave your tads to where you are looking, and even use the gun through your TADS which is slaved to your helmet (remember to lase). Be aware that HMD symbology is a mirror of the TADS', if you have an acquisition source selected then the dashed cross will be in reference to your TADS line of sight, not your helmet. You will also not get the direct-to symbol, this merely helps with visual targeting. Also if you want your NVS up, you need to bring the brightness back when HMD is the selected sight. If you select the TADS as active sight the brightness and contrast rockers adjust the TADS, if the HMD is selected then it will adjust the HMD. I am not sure what is adjusted with FCR as the selected sight.

There really is no good place to put this. But with the default forum font I can't distinguish between I (i) and l (L) very well. I suggest changing it to something like Verdana Verdana: l is L and I is i, and 1 is also nicely distinguished Times New Roman: l is L and I is i, but 1 is also a concern. Also Serif might not be a good choice.

You have FCR in there though. just the linked stuff is missing. neither is implemented. Either way, if you future proof it now, you won't have to come back and fix it later, and people don't have to remember to come back and re-fetch the cheat sheet.

Default is I (india, this forum needs a better font) There is also the special option to remove the visual rim around the eyepiece.
