Can't Boresight IHADDS using new stick button assignment
AstonMartinDBS replied to a topic in Bugs and Problems
That's not the correct bind you're lookin' for. It's this one: Exactly. -
According to the mission designer's profile, @Hangar200 was last active on May 11, 2022. And obviously nobody else from ED cares about all the broken missions...

Aerodrome Data and Frequencies - Updated 02 July 2025
AstonMartinDBS replied to Minsky's topic in General Tutorials
Thanks @Minsky! Excellent work - as usual! -
I think George as Pilot got some improvement in the latest OB. I did some testing and he didn't ran into a VRS so far.

unable to reproduce One rain wiper does it all
AstonMartinDBS replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in Bugs and Problems
It's not necessary to delete the whole module folder! Deleting the folders fxo and metashaders2 fixed the issue for me! -
unable to reproduce One rain wiper does it all
AstonMartinDBS replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in Bugs and Problems
The changelog item is misleading. In the current implementation the drops are not cleared by the wipers - they simply don't appear on all panels, as soon as a wiper has been activated. -
The video feed is jittering while sight is slaved to the TADS. The jittering occurs in both the MT and in the ST version. The higher the FOV level, the greater the jittering effect. The issue disappears sometimes after temporary changing sight to HMD and returning to TADS. Track: CA AH-64D JitteringTADS4.trk Log: dcs.zip Video:

missing track file CPG display glare - literally unplayable
AstonMartinDBS replied to al531246's topic in Bugs and Problems
If you're really interested in getting the problem fixed, then you should do everything possible to help the developers reproduce the problem. Since the problem might be related to your settings, you should definitely upload your dcs.log. And since the exact position of the AH-64D, the time of day and the weather also have an influence on the problem, you should also upload a short track file. -
I tried this mission twice in the last two weeks, and I've observed the same problem in the current OB. The wingmen just don't take off. Some of them go into a hover and collide with near ground units. Track (~12 MB): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gLeS4IeoYuIjtdC2uleUsayvUsYhHvwq/view?usp=sharing

solved HOTAS key bindings after reinstalling
AstonMartinDBS replied to Tabasc0's topic in Controller & Assignment Bugs - General
Since I'm getting a new PC in about a week, I'm glad I discovered this helpful thread. Thanks for sharing your solution @Flappie! If you have defined modifiers for certain aircraft with an affected input device, you'll have to edit the specific "modifiers.lua" as well. Here's an example of the content of this "modifiers.lua": -
A small mistake in the description or text
AstonMartinDBS replied to jpuk's topic in Bugs and Problems
Great catch, but I think, you mean it vice versa... -
I didn't command him to descent. That's the point. It's George's job to avoid VRS when I'm sitting in the front seat in SP.
-
You didn't watch my track. I just asked george to get into hover and nothing else - and he ran into a VRS. I didn't command him to descend or turn. Roger?
-
Not necessarily. He also runs into a VRS when flying level and straight ahead while tryin' to get into hover. Just watch my track. However, he should be able to avoid a VRS - even if he's descending and/or turning.
-
I've observed the same issue recently. Track attached: CA AH-64D George VRS.trk

The high detail level of this map is really awesome! Sadly it took me nearly one full day from purchase to enjoying the full fidelity of Normandy 2.0 due to the upgrading problems using Steam.
-
Maybe the Issue has been already fixed - check this out:

Maybe the issue has been fixed in the meantime.
-
Well, after the re-download of Normandy 1944 there's surprisingly an effect and I've got obviously Normandy 2.0: Maybe some Steam user can reproduce this kind of workaround? Uncheck Normandy 1944 Map (DLC) - this removes ~44 GB data run a verify restart Steam client Check Normandy 1944 Map (DLC) - the re-download of the map data starts restart Steam client
-
Same here. Unticking Normandy 1944, verifying and restarting the Steam client had nearly no effect. I only have to re-download 44 GB null dcs.log
-
I purchased the upgrade on Steam and use ths DCS World Steam Edition exclusively.
