  1. The app is free and you can download it in the 2nd thread. Still: the command is easy to use.
  2. Take this: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 Or this: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160053
  3. What would I need more than one account for?
  4. It literally is one command and a few megs of delta download.
  5. I really wish this would get marked with at least *investigating*, since this is pretty clearly layed out and worth investigating.
  6. No dude, seriously: that still doesn't make the open beta the de-facto stable. It may be the version everyone plays on because no one has time to wait for features, but it is still the beta version with bugs to be expected.
  7. We all know that the Walleye implemented the tech for the SLAM / SLAM-ER. Also it will be fixed soon enough. Take a chill pill, report the bugs, wait for the fixes. That's what an open beta is for.
  8. Hi! While I'm part of a squadron, I only play MP on our weekly flyout, basically. I'm enjoying SP the rest of the time. Even in whirlybirds I'm having lots of fun. Could the AI use improvement? Sure, show me a game where it doesn't. :) And it will, as evidenced by the new gunnery adjustments and the upcoming new FM. Things will turn out well in the end, I have patience.
  9. TMS left is wrong in any case, though. TMS up short for point or TMS up long / right short for area track. TMS left should toggle polarity.
  10. Autotrim of planes without FBW. They added it a few patches back.
  11. Speak for yourself. *I* would gladly buy into another EA like the Viper again, since I a) don't care how complete the initial release is and b) like taking part in watching it mature.
  12. I'm pretty sure you have proof why that should be the FM and not you, right? Right?
  13. The ACM modes simply put him into STT, too, so then it works like the "regular" IFF interrogation in the Viper as in: look at IFF responses on the FCR page
  14. But true. Either TMS left and glance at the STT on the MFD or visually identify him.
  15. The external model in itself is not yet finished, so why fix lights now when you dont have the final model in the first place?
  16. I would argue: we don't - as long as we don't know who does what at ED all our opionions are effectively worthless, yours and mine. Theres not much to do: voice our opinions, which we did, maybe stop buying EA / continue buying EA (which we will do or do not) and wait for stuff to be finished.
  17. Because why would you want to program that in tandem when it's the same underlying framework? You don't especially NEED another guy on that two finish it for both birds effectively.
  18. And then they would complain that only a select few can test it out and that modules take years to come out on the market boo hoo hoo
  19. Because everything they said we would receive in the Hornet is on track. Yes, it might take longer than expected, but that's pretty subjective - there have been no promises on a timeframe or a timeline. And the rest is logical deduction: both radars share a lot of underlying systems commonality (as do basically all (western) pulse-doppler radars of the era). There is literally no reason to NOT believe that they reworked that thing from the ground up to be applicable for later modules too. That's also why the Viper is getting it relatively faster than the Hornet: during the Hornets EA the underlying rework has been started, and Viper is benefitting from that now. The Hornet on the other hand will benefit from the actual *implementation* into the Viper. Easy as that.
  20. Both get the same love, it's not as if the Viper will get TWS and the Hornet will have to wait another year. Like being explained multiple time: it's a basic, underlying framework that will benefit radar implementation for ANY existing and future module in the long run. It is absolutely, 100% irrelevant which one is getting it a week early or two.
  21. That will benefit all - you can rest easy, the EA-crowd can rest easy too, because there's less whine. Win-win.
  22. Yeah, honestly. F-18 has gotten minor and major updates in EVERY OB patch over the last months. It has gotten new weapons, it is getting new weapons as we speak. So obviously nothing is amiss. At no point has EVER been promised that we would get certain features at a certain date, only THAT we would get them in the end. And that we do. At no point has there been said "EA period will be x months". You all knew that beforehand. If that's not ok for you - fine: lessons learned. Don't buy EA anymore. Full stop.
