  1. As far as I know there's no fault lights, but maybe someone of the team will chime in here. You absolutely can reach 9G in CAT III, but the AOA limiter will kick in and some point and naturally lessen the G load afterwards.
  2. Oh, I believe you in that it is modeled in the sim. And you are probably indeed looking at the corresponding page in the dash-1 or similar, but is that actually pertaining to a mid 2007 block 50? AFAIK the FLCS has changed over software versions too, which I could see relevant to the roll rate limitations. That said: would you mind bringing that up with Wags? He asked to contact him with information in the other thread. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4057042&postcount=19
  3. I tend to rather believe Wags at this point, but we are digressing. Sure hope someone from the team chimes in on the matter. :)
  4. Exactly, but when INS is implemented ~4 minutes are correct.
  5. Look at the second post, where he specifically answers with regards to roll. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4056991&postcount=13
  6. Wags said otherwise: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4056954&postcount=9 https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4056991&postcount=13
  7. It's a placeholder atm. 4 minutes is right though, for the block 50 Viper.

  9. It limits the plane's AoA regime according to loadout. In a nutshell: CAT I is clean A2A, where CAT III is A2G ordnance loaded.
  10. Really, even with Curve 0 it behaves way different than other planes on curve 0. I know, that the Viper does a few things different to begin with, but the common denominator that a lot of people here experience, in that roll input first does basically nothing and then suddenly ALL AT ONCE at one point hints to an actual problm IMHO.
  11. CAT I / III is already implemented.
  12. At least I am not alone in that feeling - I have most of the modules, and they ALL feel similar with regards to curve and the roll axis specifically, only differing in the various roll rates according to the airframe. The Viper not so much, and reading all your comments it feels like theres something not quite right.
  13. The last announcement on TWS e.g. was 8 days ago, acknowledging that it will come out shortly after Viper's release for both Hornet and Viper, which makes sense given the high commonality of the underlying systems.
  14. No one is holding you from criticizing them, it's just that there's people like me, who see things differently. And I want ED to know that people like me are out there, just like you want to make clear that there's criticism. In the end they have to weigh these opinions and form a plan accordingly.
  15. TMS down is always "Target reject", so: TMS down.
  16. Actually, your question has been answered - yes, there will be radar tracking for the gun, the EEGS funnel should have a BATR dot when locked, also LCOS mode should come, too.
  17. I know about how it works, it's just: it works a lot differently in the Viper for me. As if it had some inbuilt curve, and I'm not the only one noticing it, with regards to roll specifically. Curves as high as you set don't work for me, but that's a matter of preference anyway.
  18. That's the thing: I could drop my curve, but with all other modules the same curve behaves different than in the Viper specifically (not in roll rate of the plane, that is to be expected, but in how the stick deflection progresses) - I would like to know if that maybe is WIP.
  19. Hey guys. VKB Gunfighter MK. II / MCG Pro user here. I have a slight curve on my axes in all modules (curve 10, usually), so I set up the Viper the same way. I don't have issues with pitch axis, but roll axis feels unusually slow or, shall we say: wonky, like a messed up curve. When I deflect the stick, roll responds VERY SLOWLY until I near full deflection and suddenly ALL AT ONCE. Control indicator shows stick movement as I would expect, plane response is slow though. Any clues on if that is correct as-is? (No, CAT I / III shouldn't impact roll rate, in case anyone would suggest that)
  20. No need to yell. Known issue, already reported, see bugs forum.
  21. TMS - up bugs target, another up locks in STT. Down undesignates.
  22. Usually in the F-16, the TGP is slaved to the SPI, which in turn is by default the active STPT. Normally, TMS down commands a return from a point / area track back to being slaved to the SPI.
  23. Seat position and HUD FOV are also closely related, and I feel like with the upcoming gfx overhaul ED should really optimize this. I'm sure they will!
  24. Magic ammo best ammo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  25. Dude, for what has been released yesterday it is actually pretty fine. Over the summer there has been no update where the Hornet DIDN'T get new features or bugs fixed. Probably not as much as you would like and maybe not the bugs you deem important, but stating otherwise is factually incorrect. As a Hornet customer, I'm 100% chill with that. They never promised a date for the module to be finished, and if EA takes 3 years I'm fine with that. YMMV.
