Hey guys, even though I like flying the Hornet and the Viper I would love to go back to some more basic flying. This means I would love to use a jet that is not using Fox 3 and Jdam or Jsow. Of course I could just ignore those weapons on my other jets, but why not learn a new one? Since I have heard a lot of bad things about Razbam I'm just asking you guys: Would you recommend the Mirage or is it not a good pick at the moment?

If you want easy air combat and action and stuff, they invented it already: Its called Ace Combat. If you want a simulation, DCS is perfect. But it is a SIM, not an action game.

I like it, even though I understand that you dont like it. For me it is a part of the Immersion and I enjoy setting up my jet properly.

Yes. I usually pick a Truck or other vehicle at the end of the runway to boresight my Mav before takeoff

You need to boresight your Mavericks before you can use them.

Do you use the DCS Interface for the Streamdeck? I had the same issue, unistalled the DCS Interface and all is fine again... They say there is a Export.lua issue with a F-16 version of the Streamdeck Interface

So is this a mod you are using?

Now I got it working, and all seems fine. But now this: As soon as I turn on the Tpod in the F 16 the game freezes... And thats it. Any idea if this is correlated? Edit: I removed the Streamdeck and the .lua back to original and my game runs fine... Must be in relation with the Streamdeck DCS Interface

Hey everyone, I just got a Streamdeck XL and wanted to use it for DCS. I followed the steps from youtube from ctytler, but the deck is not connected to DCS. I did the following: - Installed the driver for the deck - Installed a profile on the deck - Edited the export.lua in the savegame folder - editet the config to 1725 for ikarus I can see the button IDs, but DCS is not connecting to the deck. Any help?

Hornet is way ahead regarding implementation of systems. Viper is far ahead regarding style and fun.

Not sure if I missed it, but will there be a LANTIRN Pod for the Viper?

Check your dogfight Switch for missile override. Most likely you activated this by accident.

That's the reason why I stopped making missions for my squadron. It is just so annoying when you put hours and hours in, test everything and all of a sudden a update changes and breaks things that worked before...

Nobody said it will be finished this year. They even said that the "main Viper support" would start in 2021, since they are focussing on the Hornet right now.

Oh, so you are saying that the campaign is broken right now? I was just about to start it, since I need some time away from all those MP issues. Obviously a SP Campaign is not a proper solution right now...

That is how I understand HAS as well. HAS has no range, only HTS can support you with ranges, as far as I know.

Found it. The switch for PFL was on... It has to be turned off in order to show the bank angle indicator...

Sorry guys, now this is a very stupid question, but I kind of lost my roll bank indicator at the HUD. It is just no longer displayed at the bottom, how do I reset it? Cold start, mastermode in NAV, but I dont have the indicator like I see in some youtube videos. Tried the HUD switches on the console as well, but nothing happens. Never paid attention to it anyways, since I was using the bank indicator in the standby attitude indicator. Or is it just gone?

Chill. We just got HARMs and Mavericks. I would call this quite huge! Of course a lot needs to be fixed, but we can use some new stuff...

No. They are IR guided. So not possible to search for them.

This is caused by powering on a maverick in VIS mode. Switch the Mav to PRE or power it off to get proper Informations again.

Wait a second, since I have the same problem. So since I switched from steam to Standalone I have now go back to Steam, buy it there and then bind it again to the Standalone?

So you are even complaining that things got better, but no one said something? Oh well... IIRC the behaviour on the ground and during taxi/landing/take off got increased one update before, and there it was written in the patchnotes.
