  1. I haven't run either through a CFD modeler but logic dictates that an asymmetric load on the aircraft will cause a roll in that direction.
  2. I've noticed the game will do this at the extreme edge of the terrain map. It's not new.
  3. What makes you think that?
  4. Are you flying with a 120 or 7 in the opposite station?
  5. Yeah I'm going to have to agree with the others, it seems in poor taste given the situation.
  6. A 1080ti will run a Reverb. May have to dial a few things back but it'll run a Reverb. That said VR is a disease and the fastest video card money can buy is the cure.
  7. Here you go. Issue only visible in VR. In this case, it's the frigate out to the left of the canopy. The antenna mast is rendering differently in the left versus the right eye. Just look to your left after the mission starts you can't miss it. Again this is the frigate to the aircraft's port, or aircraft carrier's starboard. The Perry is NOT the only unit this is happening to just the one I was able to quickly recreate it with. 3d_test.trk
  8. I don't have a track but it's most noticeable in the LOD models of the Perry-class frigates. Two different LOD models will load in each respective eye at a certain distance. Things like the radar dish will be missing in the left eye and rendered in the right.
  9. I don't know how often the VR issues forum is visited but since 2.5.6 there's a bug with objects not rendering in both eyes causing some extreme oddness/discomfort in VR. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=263602
  10. Distance objects are rendering differently... ships radar visible in the right but not the left eye... etc. Man how did this get broken? And how has this issue not been acknowledged?
  11. The guidance is whitelist the eagle dynamics folder. It's a false positive as a result of the new DRM. It's not a virus.
  12. The 8K Plus is going to have a lower ppi than the Reverb. If reading gauges and dials is important to you (it's DCS after all so it probably should be) then the Reverb is going to be unmatched. The 8K X, assuming it ever comes to market, will match the Reverb in PPI so you should get a similar if more taxing experience with a wider field of view. If by XR you meant the 5K XR, it is going to have a visual fidelity experience similar to a Samsung Odyssey or Vive Pro. Tolerable but less than ideal particularly given the price. IMHO, image clarity and spotting > immersion from a wider FoV. I'd like both and the 8K X may fit the bill but until then I'm happy with my Reverb.
  13. Do you want it now or sometime late 2020? Reverb - available now. 8KX - who knows.
  14. I too am having this problem
  15. https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?From=EUR&To=USD
  16. Pretty sure you can calculate shipping on their site but a couple months ago it was 42 euro to the US for a warbrd base.
  17. Because nothing breaks the realism more than seeing your RIO, other pilots, or world assets move around like mister roboto.
  18. Vulcan will help in cpu bound scenarios. It is not likely to have a significant impact on VR performance, but engine optimization of any kind cannot hurt.
  19. Can we at least let them get the model into early access before we start speculating about how terrible they are at their jobs?
  20. You can unscrew the headphones from the headset with a penny. Did you remove the protective blue film from the lenses before using the headset?
  21. The stick is currently too far forward and blocking too much of the had, at full rear deflection it's about where it should sit when centered. Heatblur has acknowledged the issue but it is as of yet unresolved. However as stated, backspace will hide the stick entirely.
  22. It's under NDA so anyone in the alpha can't talk about it.
  23. Mmm yeah ok so this has been reported.
  24. ctrl+pause on screen performance data shows 0.00MB video mem in use
  25. No thanks.
