The F/A-18 cannot mount the LAU-88, and the LAU-88 isn't compatible with the G Mavericks. Realistically the block 50 F-16 shouldn't be mounting the LAU-88 either but it did at one point so at least there's precedent for it.

Quite the opposite. DCS's carrier and the F-14 module isn't modeled accurately enough during landings. Jester is just reading the AOA and speed and reacting to what it SHOULD be, not what DCS is fudging. If Jester is calling bolter, you're doing it wrong.

Yes I had my steam VR set to 60 for some reason. Went through and switched windows MR to 60 and then back to 90 and it cleared itself up. Also I really don't like the HMDs in 60Hz, the flickering drives me nuts.

Patience. Slow down. Slow down your corrections, slow down your descent. Ease up on the stick, relax your grip. Little movements on the throttle and stick. Don't let your descent hit more than 400 or 500 FPM. Take your time, it's not a race to the ground.

I don't know why everyone's saying AV8B unless they're trying to land way overweight. I find S/VTOL to be a piece of cake. Far less complicated than a good case 3.

The F-16 cannot land on a carrier. Many US Airforce (F-15, F-22) fixed wing aircraft have tailhooks for emergency landings. Having a tail hook is not indicative of a carrier operable aircraft.

Yeah MP server selection screen is a 10-20 fps fest at best. Something significant is broken.

Maybe a couple for master mode (VSTOL else NAV and A/G else NAV), or the fuel pumps (off else on) etc etc? F-14 has a lot of useful bindable switches that have a little logic behind them and it'd be nice if we could get something like that for the harrier (well all modules really but I'll take a win where I can get one). And like... Anything in the cockpit should be bindable. And right now isn't. (Seat lever arm, for example).

What specifically did you do here? I've got a damper on mine but I'm unfamiliar with a toe brake mod.

I mean the pilot isn't spending a lot of time looking out the canopy anyway. You don't need to see out of the front of it to deliver an aim-54 to a target 100 miles away. Plus you have the vdi and instruments to fly with. The HUD is rudimentary at best. She just wasn't designed that way and to me it feels like a very accurate experience. An F-14 isn't an F-16.

No I just asked the front line guy to send me to someone that could help me and that's where I ended up.

I was worried but they punted me over to Omen premium support and the guy handled it without any issue. Getting an advance replacement and I didn't buy a pro, and they're fixing the warranty date too. Can't complain at all about that level of service I was expecting a mess.

Just noticed a stuck pixel in the left eye on mine. Wonderful, guess I'm starting the support process. Also noticed my warranty started on august 9th when I didn't buy the thing until october 3rd so... that's a little wonky. Can't wait to sit on the phone figuring this one out.
