il test it to see how it behaves, it was me being hmafisted that broke the lock in the 1st place lol, end result was a dead hornet and a triumphant kittykat so it ended up as nature intended though lol

there was only 1 other thing in the sky, its most likely the track got pretty much instantly reaquired and i didnt notice, can you even fire a phoenix at empty sky without using acm switch? btw that 1 killed the bugger lol,

i had this too, thanks for the clarification, the other issue i had is while trying to fire the 2nd phoenix at the same (singular) target it DID fire when i broke lock despite the acm switch not being on

i did a test yesterday with very odd results. 1v1 angles 35 m2+ closure with a hornet, got him tws at 50 miles and fired instantly (54c 47) tried to fire a 2nd straight away and it wouldnt go at all, i had solid tws lock all the way, why wouldnt the 2nd 1 go? i deliberately broke lock about about 25 miles THEN the 2nd phoenix fired, HOW? acm switch was off throughout, also the 2nd msl tracked np despite me not having a lock at all, it behaved like it was mad dog, any suggestions?

trigger guard and master arm on it was straight off the nose so well within limits. if you lase doesnt that autorange anyway?

im trying to learn cpg (very slowly!!) and iv got the gun selected (dotted) got the tads facing the target, master arm on. sometimes the gun will fire others it wont and i have idea why. the range is showing man 3000 (3km?) . i thought you changed it by boxing it then typing a and enter on the keypad? that does nothing, what am i doing wrong?

i can get it to 4 knots, just not quite nailed a completely stable hover yet

it is level if you set the pitch ladder using the knob, it isnt the most reliable lol i use the vsi to check level. also the horizon should be around 1/3rd of the way down from the top of the front glass when level and that can be misleading, take a little time to get used to
