i misremembered the question. same power different weight. the same applies though doesnt it?? a vulcan bomber has 80k lb of thrust at full chat but has way less than 1:1 p/w an f16 has less than half that power but id bet it would climb vertically MUCH better than the bomber, same physics apply dont they?

the question statres 2 effectively identical ac doing th esame thing. 1 has less power than the other, so surely the 1 with less power loses

how would the same ac with less power have the same vertical performance? surely itd be the same effect as taking 1 ac doing 2 climbs, 1 in ab and 1 in mil power?? im genuinely confused

it would be great if the pilot could drop a flare with 1 button and chaff with another! no idea if its realistic though

1 why would you unload to 0g in a drag race? 2 will the tanks feed properly at 0g or will it flame out after a few seconds?

1st answer in my head is the lighter 1 because thrust to weight, if its vertical then aoa is out of the equation isnt it? because youd be at 0 aoa?

erm thats not what they said! 1 if theres 24 agressive fighters the awg might have a problem. 2 f theres aggressive fighters around then thats a DIFFERENT problem. if youre gonna try and stir something at least get it right

a thought just occured to em. i guess the cadc dealt witht he vanes? if so was the cadc processing done by the same cpu as the avionics/hud etc? if yes could/did they delete the programming for the vanes and reuse the spare capacity for some other goodies? i know they did do that kind of thing but dont know specifics

the vanes were 100% automatic wernt they?

im confused. i thought pd did use the filters, i thought thats what pd meant, pulse with doppler filters applied??
