I can play FPS games, drive in a car, fly in a real plane without any problems; but I couldn't overcome VR sickness when I tried the O+ for 4 weeks. When I started to feel nauseated when only thinking about flying in VR, I decided to sell the gear.
Ich hab mir dafür Netlimiter (https://www.netlimiter.com/) gekauft. Die iCloud, Dropbox, DCS, TESO, IL2: alle wollen die gesamte Bandbreite haben. Aber nicht mit mir :smartass:
Theoretically you can, but you would need to fly instant action or create your own missions. I am not sure if the a-10 can use the airfields on this map.
Take a look at this one and add a 500gb ssd. https://www.amazon.co.uk/ADMI-Gaming-PC-2400MHz-Masterbox/dp/B076BN65ZP/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=desktop+pc+gtx+1070&qid=1560282382&s=computers&sr=1-10
As we can have a quick and easy way to multithread using the dedicated server, I have hopes ED can implement this concept into the single player game without busting the bank. First cloud sync needs to hit multi player, though.
To design and implement a good multithreaded sim engine is more expensive than a single threaded one. And most sim engines started when multi core was not a big thing, so it was not economically sound to do multithreading from the start. Sadly it's not easy to multithread the old engine - if it was ED would have done it long ago.
As the campaign makes use of manually dialed ndbs quite a lot, it's very tiresome to try to tune the adf. Will postpone the campaign until this is fixed.
I'm not impressed with UM, atm. As ED's engine evolves, will UM update their maps to enable new features of the engine or will they leave them be? We have only Normandy to judge by now, so...
Move your "C:\Users\yourusername\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta" to the desktop. When you then start DCS it rebuilds the settings and maybe that will fix it. If not move the original folder back. If it does, a corrupt setting was responsible.
They would have mentioned the VR improvements in the changelog, if they made it, wouldn't they. The feature that caused the hold-up.
Hopefully the Mig-19 campaign made it, that's what I was hoping to fly this weekend.
