I think you should raise a support ticket, as this is not normal behavior.

Do you click on "save profile as"? How do you exit the configuration menu? Can you list the content of 'C:\Users\yourusername\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\A-10C\joystick' here? And again: the order is not important and ignored by DCS. Every time you change something in the controller assignments they are saved in your users 'saved games\dcs world\input\somemodule' folder. On my system for the A-10C it's C:\users\tintifaxl\dcs world\input\A-10C

I never had the problem you describe. DCS uses the Windows device ids to identify the controllers, not a specific order. Device ids are assigned by Windows the first time a controller is detected and doesn't change after a restart. If the ids change it's a Windows problem, not a DCS problem.

Bekannte Bugs von der open beta in die stable zu übernehmen, ist absolut verkehrt - ist meine Meinung dazu. Devs von der Hornet abzuziehen um die Viper rauszubringen finde ich ebenfalls misslungen. Daher von mir kein Geld für eine unfertige Viper. :music_whistling:

Early access to the asset pack gets you the modules as AI assets for free. If you want to fly them, you need to buy the aircraft modules just like the P-51, Spitfire, FW-190 and Bf-109.

No offense taken. :) But I can understand people who don't care if it's a DCS shortcoming or a campaign problem. The experience is the same and you take all the flak for it. WW2 is a very difficult time period for campaign creators, and I really think your decision to make a semi histirical F-86 campaign is a very wise choice. Looking very much forward to that one, btw.

You will never know until you gave it a try. Order the VR headset and gfx card from a shop with a consumer friendly return policy. In my opinion: if TrackIR seems like a hassle, then VR is double.

Ich als Konsument lasse die Finger von Vorbestellungen ohne voraussichtliches Verfügbarkeitsdatum. Ich bin der Meinung, ein Händler sollte auch immer ein solches angeben. Verschiebt sich das aus welchen Gründen auch immer um mehrere Wochen erwarte ich ein Rücktrittsrecht mit voller Erstattung des geleisteten Betrags innerhalb zweier Werktage ab Rücktritt. Soviel zu den Wünschen an das Christkind (in DE an den Weihnachtsmann). :smartass:
