  1. I got it @MARLAN_ I see what you meant by "normal", the real pilots you had the chance to interview are just telling that the 34k higher limit is most of the time the "normal operations" because all the restrictions for a 34K trap are always met (there is also the ship arresting system version). That's make sense. Maybe in the past they also had different/mixed Carrier config so the need to specify this restriction in the list, too.
  2. Of course I don't want to question real pilots informations and who is dealing with true operational infos, but from the papers I was able to read (maybe not updated) the wording is like me and others are mentioning here. Max Trap Weight is 33K is Unrestricted and 34K is Restricted to 5 specific restrictions provisions. That's mean that if you are compling with those restrictions you can trap at 34K with no issues, but stating that this is wrong I think it is an assumption based on no evidences. In our dcs F18, maybe they give us a limit of 34K as a margin anyway even if we do not meet the restrictions, I don't know, but could be possible.
  3. As @markom and @Nealius wrote about carrier traps limitations, is it the opposite, I would say 33K is the "normal" (Unrestricted) max trap, and 34K the "special" (Restricted) condition.

    AH64 FCR

Ciao. lo hanno messo nel rearm, tolto dalle ME options
  5. When I have time I use some real carrier pic to have a sort of guide or "map".
  6. sounds more like a walkaround, and thanks for poinintg out, as it is nice we can use Radio 2, for the time being. but why is Radio 2 defaulting FM for those AM freq? Seems like a pretty obvious bug, I cannot believe this kind of Mil V/UHF Radio is operating like that for real. Seems strange also is not recognized as a known bug already.
  7. F15 E Radio #2 is bugged at present time, but #1 should work.
  8. Yes it is working. request GND Power on ground crew menu then when they confirm is on, use the EXT PWR switch on the ENGINE Panel (Right hand side) Reset then it is spring loaded to NORM. You are all set.
  9. At the end a friend of mine had the chance to check it out. And as @KlarSnow and @Tenkom wrote, is not possible to transfer coords to JDAM just cueing the pod, so my assumption was wrong, we must designate as TGT what we have punched in the pod (Steer point, Target Point, Mark Point). On the current open beta: Designating as TGT that point (what we have just punched in) does not change coords or altitude of that point by line of sight obstacle, then it is possible to transfer those coords directly on the smart weapon page to the JDAM in TOO mode. So this is (on this open beta) the quickest way to use Mark points and transfer them directly to JDAM.
  10. I will not have the chance to test it on the sim for a while, I would say it will not be required to designate as TGT by the TPOD, if the MARK point coords and data are correct. And are show on the TPOD page. I suppose the XFER TPOD option on the Smart Wpn page will just transfer what is show on the slaved TPOD position. I’m just guessing at the moment. ciao
  11. I mean you do not need to see with TPOD the TGT and set a mark point with it, I mean that you have, as I understood from your request, a MARK point on your system that you want to cross tranfer on your JDAM Smart WPN page, then you just point your TPOD (UFC->SHIFT Mx x=mark point number) and press the TPOD PB used for nav point slaving so your TPOD point directly at your selected MARK point, after that you can easily XTSFR that coord in your JDAM SMART WPN PAGE without insert manually all the numbers. let me know Ciao
  12. Hi, I'm away from my main pc, but one shortcut could be using the TPOD and SmartWPS in TOO mode, I'm pretty sure UFC Mark Points are cross tranfered to TPOD, then you can select TPOD as XFER source for your Smart weapons coord needs. let me know. ciao
  13. Hi, as a reference on the F14 DCS Manual Chapter 4.3.2 / page 329-335 You can find a lot of detailed infos about weapons system as per your specific question: Pag. 334: All of the Mk-80 bombs has nose fuzes only and should be dropped with the nose (N) fuze setting on the mechanical fuze switch on the RIO armament panel. The Mk-82AIR and Snake Eye variants use the tail fuze wire to enable bomb retardation meaning that the nose/tail (N/T) mechanical fuze option should be used if retardation is needed. Ciao
  14. Sure seems like an issue in our DCS F18… I was just pointing out the IRL use of MAX. about DCS I don’t know if it is something they reported like a know issue, I didn’t try to change the special options: DCS: F/A-18C by Eagle Dynamics Added New pilot model from first person (Work in progress). Known issues: The salute command doesn't work when using option Afterburner detent.
  15. IRL F18C above 45k lbs at Catapult launch, MAX power is the only option
  16. Thank you very much @Rudel_chw, amazing and huge work on those training missions. I really like them. Thanks
  17. I see them in Aircraft Additional Properties, Helmet options and Laser codes (F16), the Menu is the 3 dots one, skill must be Client or Player.

    COMMS

Does it happen with "easy comms" off in gameplay option tabs? I would double check that just to be sure
