  1. I run DCS from a separate 2TB SSD, and also moved the saved games folder there (do that via Windows !! ). Also a 2GB pagefile on a separate Harddisk partition. Keep around 200MB pagefile active on your drive C as well!.
  2. If i look at the movements in arcade (F4) view the rudder moves OK, and i tried different tuning shapes. Take off etc works OK, but that friggin' rudder drives me nutz.
  3. LoL, just bought a campaign, even cannot get it off the ground. Trimming pedals, when pushing left the plane tends to turn right. Anyone got a lua for his fav crosswind v3 set?
  4. In the Ju-88A4.zip there are 2048x2048 Junkers_88_Nisha_D.dds related files. What are they addressing in the livery?
  5. In the folder ........(.........\ DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\tech\WWII Units\Textures\Ju-88A4.zip) the wing files are named the wrong way around, L should be R and vice versa, and it's very confusing regarding livery (skin) making IMO.
  6. Hi Warlord64. I have been using your template, and noticed the L and R wings are named wrong, L should be R etc. However in the game default Ju-884 zip Livery files (......... DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\tech\WWII Units\TexturesJu-88A4.zip) it is also 'wrong' so maybe you're 'right' after all. Am i correct? Thanks for your work BTW.

  9. With all them great WW2 stuff added now i would like to kick ass within the Third Reich. Maybe some clever "wizz-kid" can adapt the IL2 Great Battles "Rheinland" map in a mod?

  14. OK so i'll have to add "Third Reich" as well as "NZG" to be safe. NZG does not cover WW2 then. I am just adding some artwork and edit's to Warlord64's Ju-88A template for a mission i am working on still. BTW I could not find if tactical numbers for squadrons are programmable in the ME like in IL2 Great Battles, or do you have to set them manually in each skin? Latter would make the mission (JSGME) file quite large, as i need 8 separate Junkers 88 planes.

Got this working description.lua, working for a 'Third Reich' selected Warlord64 skin (Junkers-88). in the line countries there is only "GER","NZG" present not "Third Reich", but the skin it still works in the game ... what is NZG ? see below for the whole script.   19. HI Y'all. dunno where to post this ... there seems to be no skinnery department for livery editing, also on Discord. I have been working with Urbi's c74 template also adding RAF stuff to it for a mission i want to publish. Now i cannot find the engine cowlings in the C47_wings-L and -R_D PSD templates or even existing dds files : Tips welcome. !

  24. Slowly i'm getting the hang of it ..... got the body of my intended RAF BOAC skin almost finished LoL. Thanks Urbi's help with his template.
  25. Hi Rudel, i have been experimenting why sometimes a description.lua script (created or adapted with notepad++) does not seem to work. If you leave out all the 'true', things seem to work properly, if you leave the false ones there, here's an example of a working one form CrazyEddie. I am still experimenting, as i feel it might have to to that my SavedGames folder (moved with windows via properties to another drive) can also be a cause not finding the 'true' lines address items directed in the lua.
