Me neither. I want to get it on steam...but I am thinking, its better to just get it here and support the devs/ED rather than steam mooching off 30% of the total sale price.

I Must say..based on the videos.... I am really impressed by even the current sound samples for the Mig 21. The best is the sound of the landing gear coming up and the clunk sound of it being retracted into the bay. So awesome. No other DCS module/aircraft has got that sound "feeling" right.

I wasn't a backer, but I am still excited to buy this module. You guys deserve the hype and I hope this does well for you. But, please please please.... make your aircraft choices carefully. I don't want to start a war here, but I personally do not care about the "WWII" aircraft, some other trainer aircraft being released. I know the info is harder to come by, but please take on some modern aircraft current to this era... Mirage, Gripen, eurofighter, tornado etc. :p Anyways... enough OT. Wishlist for the future. :p

Quick question...for whoever made the trailer... That "blur" effect in some scenes... aircraft exhaust as well as when the missile hits the ship... is it in-game (If yes.... "kool aid man style... OOO YEAA..." or is it just post processing. :p

D1 purchase on steam for me. About time we got some nice "relatvely" modern jets. :p

Totally...and thats what it deserves.

Next DCS version is 2.0.0 If they follow your pricing model and release stuff at $5...(some iPhone games are priced at more expensive prices than that and you want a simulation to be priced that way?) They will go out of business and cannot even pay their employees. Remember when wags mentioned that 120k was a stretch to even develop the AFM on a single aircraft... Not to mention that does not include 3d models, integration, avionics, weapons etc. people who complain these modules are expensive need to contemplate and try to examine how much work it is to create these things. No one is complaining when EA or activison or code masters release their annual franchises at $60 an entry with literally roster updates. Simple solution.. If u can't afford $50 modules... Don't buy it or wait for a sale. But don't try to impose ED to give away their products at unreasonable prices.

As it is still receiving/updating features/graphics, I don't think the system specs are finalized yet.

true. But yeah...with the advancement of DCS to 2.0 with edge..its exciting to comprehend what kind of improvements and updates we will see in regards to immersion/graphics in ED sims. :)

Nice shots...but what happened to the grass? I remember seeing nice looking new grass in the EDGE screenshots posted in the announcements? Has it been scrapped?

ED...check out the following video for IL2 BOS. I know the new aircraft have decent damage modelling in DCS, but the ground vehicles and static objects are lacking a lot in this department. You need to add some nice particle fx...some metal scraps or pieces of turrets etc when a vehicle blows up...or some procedural damage (recalculated) or a damage system like havok for buildings / bridges etc. Pq66zJ9k82A

I think they have it planned... but right now edge, sabre, Dora, 27 AFM, Nevada are the priorities. Unless, they plan to sneak in the mig model update in between, it may be a little while.

July 2014 Update Now we see the selfish vocal majority. $40 will give me the Normandy map and Dora at $20 each. I already have the mustang too.. But hey... This is more manageable for ED. So no worries.... Give away ur extra keys to friends.

I agree... please shoot the video in 1.3.0. We want to see it rendered in edge. Landing, some A2A and A2G action would be nice. Please make it at least 4-5min.
