I think the big issue is the return for a A version. Although, we may see enough differences, unlike the differences between the Su-27 and Su-33.... there isn't enough to set apart the A-10A vs A-10C for the general public/market. People would rather buy the C version. It is a better aircraft, a more modern aircraft that all the RL aircraft have been updated to as well.

I agree..its easy to get carried away....we almost always loose sight of the achievements and focus on the faults. Thank you ED/wags for providing us with a sneak peek at NTTR and 2.0. Thanks for making the video longer than 2 min. :)

Very nice. I love the last 3 shots of all. Especially the 3rd from the end...I hope 2.0 brings such lighting effects to real time.

I think if they implement a proper "dynamic light" afterburner with "fluid simulation", we can get a more dynamic AB that can respond to different light conditions.

I agree...fc3 is a fantastic buy after u try and get used to the su-25t included. It's an amazing plane. Lots of fun. And then move on to the others. If u then want the complexity, I personally like the a-10c...my favorite apart from the flanker. Everything else comes after. ;)

I think the sparks have been removed. Lets just hope they are going to introduce a new spark/smoke effect like that for DCS 2.0 :)

Hi guys, I like keeping my games organized by steam. So many times, I bought a new module on ED, and normally, tend to merge it to my steam account. But ever since the divide, I bought Mig-21 at release on EDshop, but then re-bought it on steam for my primary game. Also, helps support DCS and its modules. So, in the spirit of christmas, I wanted to organize this giveaway. The key is still bound to my account, but once the giveaway is done, I will unbind it and send it to the winner. Note: This will be a DCS shop key. You cannot integrate it with STEAM. Conditions: 1) You have to be an existing DCS forum member for atleast a few months...lets say registered before July 2014. 2) Based on an idea from a previous giveaway here, :thumbup: create your best sketch...simple drawing of ANY DCS aircraft. OR just post down here that "You want the Mig 21". :p SIMPLER eh? ;) 3) I will pick a random post # through a random number generator and award the key to them. 4) Deadline: Dec 24th at midnight cheers and season's greetings. I think only Su-25T and Su-27 have those missions right now. perhaps once they are at 2.0, they might update the training missions for the others? no one knows.

I think ED should consider an AI logic of self preservation/fear/call in support. This should be part of the routines where an AI convoy can launch a flare, signal nearby airbases to send in reinforcements if they come under attack. That would be a dramatic enhancement to the DCS world.

ya... i guess we do not to wait and see how it goes. I dont mind it for the lghts in the cities, but it would be nice if an airbase was bombed, the lights can get dynamically destroyed and turn off.

I love mine and I bought mine at Bestbuy, so I had no issues with service when I sent my throttle in for repair. It came back and works awesome. To this day, the micromouse thingy on the throttle bothers me and I hate it...but in terms of the stick, it is bar none..the best. I will be waiting to buy the F-18 HOTAS if thrustmaster does end up making one.

Nice to see your videos again Rich. See... that's the same concern I had with the landing gear of the flanker...seems too tough...try doing that touch and bump with the F-15 and it will break... with the Su-25T and Su-25, the gear definitely shows some nice element damage, whereas the pistons and pivots on the flanker gear are completely intact. Although, it does seem now the gear can bend...but the damage still seems lacking compared to other aircraft.
