  1. I had this asset spawn on the deck (hot) on the Forrestal, then try to take off. It completes the catapult stroke then gets stuck inside the nose of the carrier deck. Using DCS 2.8.6.41066.1.

  7. I don't see this problem on my system. The doors animate either as part of a mechanimations table (which doesn't exist in the Cessna 210 lua file), or possibly as part of an argument attached to the activation of one of the lights (i.e., "argument = 38"). That door you show as open is animation argument 38 in the shapes file. Anyway, seems like your setup/system has something funky going on.

  9. Sounds like you have a buggy Cessna .lua file. Its mechanimations sounds hosed.
  10. With the upcoming Kola map, have you put any thought into making older Soviet airframes like the Tu-126?

  13. I'm getting crashes when I try to instantiate a mission with AI-controlled versions of the Mi-4 or Mi-14 in DCS 2.8.1.34667.2.
  14. I improved some of the night lighting, on some airframes considerably. The V-22 also and aerial refuel now, but it's a bit janky, at least in my test mission. MAM_lights.zip

  16. Following my post here: I added lighting to this excellent mod so it looks better at night, especially with ED's new lighting engine push. Thanks to @western_JPN for this excellent mod so far, and looking forward to more planes and more airliner liveries. TTwinTailJets_lighting.zip
  17. I was tweaking some of the engine performance numbers for the Cessna, then got a bug under my skin about aircraft lighting since ED seems to be focusing on that. Here are my additions to make aircraft lighting better. Tested fairly extensively on the Persian Gulf map as it seems like all the maps are going to move to that lighting scheme. There are limits to what I can do in terms of which lights activate when (ED seems to have fairly restricted logic for all of that), and I cannot add light bloom or other objects that are 3D without the source 3D models (plus I'm not a 3D artist). Wish someone would make more airliner liveries, especially for the DC-10. I'm not a 2D artist either. I also made similar additions to @western_JPN's excellent T-tail twin jet mod:
  18. Any chance at including some stock desert liveries for the SAMs? Nothing too amazing, just a color sub from green to desert tan would be sufficient to help them blend in on all of the DCS desert maps. Amazing mod!
