  1. It is if your targets are what I said before...LARGE fixed things like warehouses, hangers, bridges, runways, etc. Those wpts can be assigned well enough to get the job done. I'd rather do auto release at 10k levelled than to dive in close to the defenses doing CCIP. But if I see a TGT of OPP, like a bomber parked to the side, then CCIP will work the quickest, IF SAFE
  2. No I think you should sit there and smugly lecture me on what I mean when I say something
  3. Well, once the AAAs and SAMs get into the mix, CCIP will be reserved for the MOH bomb runs..."ain't comin' home, ma"
  4. You wouldn't set your WPT as TGT unless you knew from the briefing that the WPT was not just any piece of ground in the vicinity, but instead was a specific target like a building, hangar or a runway
  5. Yeah, I guess CCIP is more for TOO's...but with WPs, you're thinking fixed permanent structures like buildings or runways
  6. Well silly, how else you gonna detect the aliens from the dark side of the moon, when theysa comin'?
  7. My min/max values change with each single press, but there's no doubt that the sensitivity of the elevation of the marker has drastically changed...holding the elevation up or down is now a mistake...you need to apply single taps (button presses) or it goes ballistic in either direction...which means it's no good assigning a slider axis to this...you need discrete steps...I can use it, but do not like it
  8. Yeah, and as far as I can tell, there are only two pages so far that can be assigned as the "SOI"...they are the Attack A2A Radar and the HSI. None of the other available pages for the DDI's seem to need focus for operation, including the HUD repeater page...and that page, you would think it would need SOI status because of TDC functions that can be operated via the HUD...I'm too used to A-10C with the SOI thing
  9. If you assign the four directions of the Sensors to a hat on the stick, just hitting the sensor - Right, will make the right DDI your SOI, so you can begin slewing the TDC for Radar if, let's say, you had that on the right DDI. The diamond on top right corner displays after you hit the right castle hat switch...
  10. Over 50K loadout, no problems carrier_practice_2.trk
  11. Ok they work great. Thanks so much...the audio volume in the beginning was oscillating a bit but afterwards all was fine...I must say, I like how the transcript is persistent until SPACEBAR....it gives you a chance to review what was said while the trainee was looking at something else..I wish the other module training missions were like this...thank you again, BD
  12. Ok I found the link for Training Mission 01, 04, and 07...But when I get to the site, there is a LUA file and 9 Mission files with no labels so where's the training missions??? Ok, I think I figured it out...confusing though...why won't Razbam allow your missions in the update itself?
  13. Could you please add link here, cause I don't know what first you're referring to...tx
  14. Tha's cool.....fog of war stuff
  15. Is that what that circle is for??? Wow, you learn something every day. So if I ever see a circle on the HUD it means boresight, right?
  16. Beautiful, I'd buy one
  17. Nothing like real detail...right down to the scratch marks
  18. Why? It can't be because 4th of July...they don't celebrate that over there, do they?
  19. Yep, WACQ seems to work as well as boresight...hey, why isn't there a three/four letter notification code on the HUD showing that you are in Boresight? something like BST....you got AACQ, WACQ, VACQ, GACQ (guns), and BST for boresight
  20. Pylons should be capable of being jettisoned There, now it's in the wish list where it can fall on deaf ears...
  21. The latter...I thought it was obvious..."it should" is equivalent with "It'd be nice"....:music_whistling:
  22. https://patents.google.com/patent/US2865584 looks like this was capable since 1956
