I just hopped into an MP server just to see if was single player only related and I can clearly see and feel the timed hitch, only seems to be in Syria map
I have noticed the same thing over the months, I've found the only way to stop this is to prevent the Rift S from going into standby when you take it off, I've used a blob of Blu Tack and pressed it gently over the sensor to stop the device from going to sleep when removed.
@Alpenwolf: mission 'Sneaky Bastards' mission rotation today was badly bugged, no EWR or air defences at Kish for blue side, a real mess especially when it was nighttime and there was no way to IFF, unsure if red side had same problem.
If anything is being produced in China expect delays, they have just had their 'golden week' holidays in the first half of October and all manufacturing facilities have been closed, expect things to hopefully pick up pace towards the end of the month.
There is an apron on Ramat David that has some steel pipes lying across it, one of the F-5s spawn directly on top of that resulting in a nasty surprise upon entering the cockpit.
I posted this on the 17th -

that was nearly 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting on Scan Computers UK to deliver (ironically the last e-mail I has from them says delivery expected 18th Sept 2020) there are many others in the same situation, a discussion thread was started about it here
Yes the netcode protocols have changed so all openbeta clients, server included, need to be on the correct version - unfortunately the Coldwar server is still on previous version so is unusable for now.
As mentioned in first post and several others after the IC check fail only happens with watercompose.hlsl after first use of the mod, subsequent loads will not fail IC.
Just as a note: blue side had Mike Delta providing GCI early on in the mission (not sure if he was moving units around too) he was doing a great job but he had to step away leaving the few of us on blue quite disorganized and unsure of what was coming from where (someone else was in a GCI slot can't recall the callsign but we hardly heard from him on comms) so we had to try make the best of a bad situation.
Well the tonemap.fx in my mod adjusts gamma levels so I'm not removing that, and I won't adjust for VR as not everyone has VR and it'll most likely reduce quality for 2D.
If it's too much of a problem the file can just be removed manually by the person using the mod, very simple to do.
