Do you think that the clickable choppers and A/C centering on ATG simulation will actually cause that much of a stir over at the Falcons Nest??? To be honest I think that a lot of those dudes will most likely migrate over to ED just to see what's happening.. And I predict that once they do they'll be here to stay.. Yes Sony is well known to have terrible support.. Did you actually go to the Sony website ??? They do have a trouble shooting screen that asks you to type in the model no of the unit that your having trouble with.. and then there are subdivisions that come up.. I know that you can down load their latest bios from here.. But I personally think that you should most likely go for the Sony disk that will reinstall your original Sony Vista and Sony drivers.... My old system came with a system recovery, application recovery, and driver recovery disk.... And what you have is a prioritized Vista version, I'm very sure... Anywhat I found Sony to be very reliable once you get it sorted out.. My oldest PC is a Vaio and its still running, and without to many issues after 5 yrs.. As you said I think that everything would have been fine withyou're new lap top if you would have left in Vista.. So lets see if you can get the disks, you should be ok after that.... As far as Comp haveing your system recovery disk I would call first, and by all means try to avoid dropping it off, and letting them try to fix it....:lol: ~S~ Blaze

Actually I love my F-16 handle ..... I'm hoping that someday ED will release a very accurate F-16 sim.... I think that everyone's entitled to there opinion and this one's mine... But I'm a flight sim person and have been since I was very young I have been working with aircraft as well, first in the Marines and second I worked for an aircraft parts manufacturer, so I've been exposed to the field for a long time .. Therefore I like all aircraft, some more then others... I've been flying Russian Aircraft for about 7 years, so of course I would really enjoy having that SU-27 stick to plug into my Cougar base. The mod that I've installed is excellent and I would like to take advantage of this with a Russian stick as I think that it would increase the immersion factor 100%.. And for that matter I would also like to have an F-15 as well .. And If ED decides to release an A/F-18 sim that would be awesome also to plug into my Cougar... As I pointed out earlier there are mods that have been used in conjunction with the Thrustmaster and are being sold outright on the internet without issue... All of this is very expensive and unfortunately is really out of the question for a lot of flight simmers because of this reason... Any way I'm hoping that these gentleman do decide to go ahead with this project, whether it's for the Cougar, stand alone or both.. But I think where going to have to wait until their LAN show finishes... Blaze

I was just looking at some of the additional videos and saw that the choppers are apparently flyable.. Usually in a sim of this nature the FM really isn't that convincing.. But I don't know this seems to be the best combat sim that I've ever seen.. I mean you can actually see blades of grass and flowers when the combat troops are crawling on their belly's...:lol: Simply amazing... I'm going to get this one for sure.... ~S~ Blaze

Isn't ejection one of your interests???:lol: I know that ED is right now working very hard trying to get this project out of the door.. But there has been some recent posting regarding the ejection modeling.. So I'm hoping that this will revamped for the BS release.. The developers do read the forums, so there might be a possibility that this WILL HAPPEN !!!! ~S~ Blaze

The way I see it is these things can I guess be discussed casually and that's ok.. Its when the intensity builds and actually disrupts the forum... This is when I think these things have to be removed to PM or e-mail or whatever.... ~S~ Blaze
