Zero G productions and then copyrighted rolls across the screen.. Why would some do something like this? Is there a monetary gain? I doubt if that's the motive.. This is sure becoming a mystery, I wounder what the actual motive is here? ~S~ Blaze -

Hey Crusty... I had forgotten that MCAS El Torro was closed.. I vaguely remember hearing it on the news back in 1999... But I guess it just didn't register for some reason.. I just googled it and it appears that it was closed because it was contaminating the the ground soil. And it seems that there a lot of fruit groves in the area and they are very important the local economy ... Seems to me it was the right decision, there's a real need to try and reverse a lot of the mistake's that we've made with conservation.. I'm just wondering about MCAS Cherry Point NC, 2nd MAW my old duty station...... Well this should be fine for now as The Marines still need to have one Master Jet Station.. ~S~ Blaze -
Don't blow it off, it's just a question.

That pretty much sums it up as to how I see ECM in Lock On... ~S~ Blaze -

I may help if you use medium settings for water.. But to optimise the settings for your specific configuration, it best to start with the lowest settings and then work upward until you begin to see issues .. then adjust accordingly.. It seems like a lot of work but that will give you the best overall settings.. ~S~ Blaze -
That would be interesting to see some RC jets with missiles, dog fighting... But where would you be able to do something like this with out getting injured.. I don't think it would be practical, unfortunately... ~S~ Blaze

Now this is very cool.. Even though it is a DYI for now.. I'm betting that someone will eventually put something like this into production soon... ~S~ Blaze

Hi Eric I just noticed that your back with us ..... How are you.. I can remember the old Flanker days when I used to go to your web site to download missions, and get training videos... Blaze

Yes, there seems to be some missing texture as well... This did look like it was going to be a very nice upgrade to the F-15.. But with the unfortunate fact that the the files were mistakenly deleted It stands unfinished.. I just couldn't get used to it so I had to installed it.... ~S~ Blaze

I'm beginning to get very disinterested again with F4AF.. I spent some hours trying to enable the StopWorks Block 52 Pit addon.. But everything that I tried just wasn't working... Of course I'm using a BFG 8800 and had to wait for Lead Pursuit to come up with a fix... Just so I could load it up .. I had heard that Stopworks pits wount work with my configuration, and then some one said that it will... I think that I'm going to put that sim on the shelf for now, I have more fun in Lock On anyway.... I don't need those problems... ~S~ Blaze

It might... We really wont know what it will fly on until its released... ED might just have optimized the code by then or something.... If your gong to upgrade most everyone is waiting for the release.... ~S~ Blaze

Yeah, I totally concur, It does get confusing while your bearing down on one group and you get a verbal that a group just popped up on the other side of the planet.. ~S~ Blaze

I have the same CPU from my last build.... I gotta' say that it was a great CPU and still is .. I'm still using this AMD 64 3200 for my office applications.. But it did give me some slow downs and mini stuttering in Lock On but was SOA when I first got it... ~S~ Blaze -
Honestly I think its time that you considered getting a new card... If you want to get another one of these they're going for only about 150.00 USD.... Maybe you should get an inexpensive GPU for now and really invest in an ATI when the DX10 cards are released.... ~S~ Blaze

Well I finally got the Red Viper footage to work, and I just have to say the graphics seem to have improved considerably.. But you know its really hard to determine just how much with all of the editing and special effects that were used there... I'm still waiting to see what happens to Falcon AF... I did find out that Stopworks has come out with a patch for the Block 52 cockpit.. So I guess I'll spend a little more time over on the dark side tomorrow:hehe: and learn a little more about the avionics while waiting for LOBS to become available... I like comparing the AtA systems in the F-15 here in Lock on to the F-16 over there... ~S~ Blaze -
Well I prefer having the hidden objects to be enemy a/c.... There was one mission that I particularly liked in Flanker.. It was called First Blood... That actually had a whole flight appear after you took off... So the first time I flew this one I had no idea what coordinates the fight would appear at.. And once the enemy was located, your objective was to circle behind the TU-160's and take them out before they reached their target... I recreated this mission for Lock On when it was first released... This is one of the only missions that I will fly over and over again and not tire of... Otherwise I'm always looking for a hidden flight in my missions... ~S~ Blaze
