You know if you use warhogs idea, it might be easy to remove the paint using say a ballpoint pen with the ball removed (or one without ink and with the ball?) and a plastic stencil of the Alphabet. So spray green translucent sheet black, get one of those letter stencils and scratch the paint off. Finish would have a different font but it could be a very simple solution that might meet your needs? When done cut to the size you need and slick it face down, not sure what type of paint to suggest?

That's garbage, price if the stick that should be a decent cast alloy or steel. Talk about cutting corners to maximise profit. It's not hard to get into a decent foundry, they still needed to make a tool to cast that junk.

It's not meant to replace the F-22 anyway and is in the case of UK is not replacing the Typhoon, so it's not a future fighter, the airforce is already working towards the next FX-Xx 6th gen fighter and the RAF will probably have a separate Typhoon replacement project in the pipeline.

Where did you buy A-10 in beta? If it was on the eshop and you have the log in get the serial number. Then download DCS2 which when opened will say no terrain installed, will provide a link to download Nevada and ask for a serial. I don't know if you have a different computer or have wiped the registry but it might not know you owned the beta a10? And as mentioned above, DCS 2 only has Nevada (once you downloaded it) and not the old map, you can only play on the old map in DCS 1 which is currently at 1.5. This is because 2 is in alpha and they are updating the Black Sea map to work in 2, so early days. Hope that helps?

I dont know this for sure, but at the same time the F-117 was fielded it is rumored to have a companion..its more than a rumor..... But what would be enjoyable about the F-117 I would imagine is trying to keep it stealthy as you fly against AA and A2A radars, but being as though this is Stealth we are talking about and the companion is perhaps still flying... Who, outside of the inner circle, would be able to simulate accurate stealth.... Noone, therefore no DCS bird.... Close the thread.

Well I am sure that just like FSX there will be Devs willing to make replicas for payware in the future. I dont know the industry dynamics as to whether there are enough DCS 'players' but I think the fact they give DCS away for free is a good call (even though I want to pay for it to support). Perhaps if we get a commercial model in the game with the fidelity we might get some FSX converts!

You will also need to read up on Helios if you don't go with the PI. My first panel was using an old keyboard interface and tracing the key tracks to make about 20 inputs. Google rip a keyboard if you have an old one. Then you will need one on-off-on 3 position toggle and the rest on/off. Helios sets the off state as a second or third input.

I've run 3 no problems here, except realestate. I glued hinges to the side of them so They fold away when not on n use.

I worked on HISTE Hawk India Synthetic Training Equipment which included a large full cockpit sim. The seat was made by a University subcontractor from the MB plans but included a small (perhaps 1cm) snap movement in only 2 axis (left and right) IIRC, not really a g-force sim but it was enough for the immersion of sharp turns. The best I have seen is that video posted with the paddles and belt tensioners and there is another vid I've seen where the guy simplified that design I think.
