  1. My seat of the pants estimation without looking at numbers is better. I am noticing the flicker in one eye but no stutter...
  2. Using the import, a bunch of binding appeared, but they were all screwed up for my VKB MCG Pro as if randomly assigned. Very strange. My best fix was to rename my saved files from <user>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input from F-14B to F-14 (after backing it up first). They appeared for everything BUT my VKB stick, which were blanked on the buttons and the Z-axis (T-rudders) were set axis on throttle instead of rudder. I then manually assigned the stick functions (forgot the trim which I discovered when trying a Case I). I trapped fine in the F-14B with an OK... also noticed the change in afterburner effect. Not the "whoompf" it would do before but a bit of a delay then hearing the F110 GE burners similar to before without that initial ignition sound. The TF30 does a popping noise. And Supercarrier thinks F-14A is a Hornet. I called "Tomcat Ball" in Voice Attack and the communication was Hornet Ball. Also noticed on a cat launch (which I usually always do two traps, one launch on the Instant Action Supercarrier Case I), they didn't tell me to extend my wings and told me to raise my nose strut as if I was still a Hornet, but only for the F-14A. F-14B had it correct (except for the known wrong signal for kneeling). Was able to trap but ignored the WO. The TF30 drop power alot faster than the F110...

  4. My Steam version didn't do that. No mods other than some aircraft though (SU-57, A-4E, etc).

  6. That wasn't actually IRIAF in the trailer... it had the camo, but the roundels were US every time as far as I could tell (at least 2 of the 3).

  8. 3 or 4 tail numbers in that scheme would be nice. What was their high viz and/or CAG bird painted like in 135-GR? The one launching the AIM-54A?
  9. Hmm didn't think of that angle. MATS shows a few VF-1 from -135-GR: 162597, 162603, 162605.

I loaded my profile and it only loaded the axis, but none of the buttons on the virpil base, but the axis curves were gone and the game throttle would move with the physical throttle but the virtual kept "popping" back to the middle did some reason, so could not slow down enough to activate speed brake to enter the break for trapping.
  11. Thought Wolfpack and Jolly Rogers would be in there for sure. Isn't Wolfpack in the trailer?
  12. Not even that interested in the plane, but I would probably buy the A-6 knowing Heatblur's quality and could learn to love moving mud with it and to build a 1980s carrier air wing for Cold War scenarios.
  13. Will hope after the next project (A-6?) they consider a follow on module with F-14B Upgrade and F-14D. I would happily buy that. Or even a patch with just F-14B Upgrade.
  14. Well ideally there would be more "spots" in the hangar and as soon as the earlier spots were taken and launched, they would be carted to the elevator and then staged.
  15. Want to fly some burners off the cat in VF-84 but will probably mostly keep flying the F-14B with VF-103 or VF-32 and dreaming of the F-14D.
  16. I'm using VKB MCG Pro extension in a center mount with Virpil throttle on left and custom button box on the right with VKB T-rudders right now but dreaming of upgrading to Slaws if/when they ever become available again... yeah very very nice!

  18. Everyone has their favorites, but having it for at least one squadron livery (the default Checkmates or whatever) with working modex would be a modest start until the grand fix, if ever.

  25. Just do a key binding. I have Left Shift U that I use vaicom to call and launch every time.
