  1. hijacking one more time, sorry. What is the I/O or I/P button at the top of the UFC? Is it ingress point? Is it implemented yet? I press on it and nothing changes. Also, I understand that hack time could be displayed and the stopwatch also could be displayed on the UFC for Zulu, hack, and TOT settings. Currently only TOT can be inputted but not displayed. Is this a bug?
  2. Homing Pulsating Doppler :D
  3. I think you need a CDU/LASTE which the F/A-18C does not appear to have.
  4. you can simply press the magnifier with the full screen map button and this will snap the zoom out to max.
  5. I wonder why the requirement for NTTR for a primarily carrier based craft?
  6. I concur. Bignewy I just flew the PAVEWAY II mission. All is in order. Please kill this thread. Mark closed.
  7. winds are variable @ 8m/s. Shouldn't much affect the bomb because of altitude window permitting bang bang corrections, and its control surfaces guide onto target lased.
  8. Hey Newy, OK I shall fly it and post the track in a few minutes.
  9. and here is a tacview of the whole mission. you can see it all LGBs are landing right under the T-80U tank but no effect is visible from the top. Maybe the penetration model has changed? BTW the flying GBU-12 is a bug. I can share this video . Never have I seen a weapon released downwards flying upwards like a glider.. 10. OK here is a video of the issue
  11. he's running 25X GTX2080 Ti Titan for this FPS
  12. Believe it or not it was above 20000 feet. I was between 24-27Kft the whole box pattern. Could winds at 8 m/s do this?
  13. I did order "LASER ON" Got "LASING, RESPOND" Ordered "Spot" then "IN from .." Got "Cleared hot" This means the laser was firing and turned on. Plus the F6 view shows bomb correcting towards target.
  14. Latest open beta, I get the Lasing, give IN, then as waypoint set to AUTO by WPDSG, the weapon falls a few feet short of a supposedly laser designated by AFAC MQ-1 target. Video to follow soon. Please advise
  15. can you post a track or tacview if you got it?
  16. for the break, because of the oscillations caused by flaps nose up attitude, trim heavily nose down and hold stick. as flaps are deployed I turn to 600 ft and kill all power then trim nose up to get the FPM on the bracket, gradually adding power. Sometimes I climb a little while doing so, and sometimes, I reach 800-ish ft when I am out of shape. It is very important to index the radalt as your source for reading altitude before the brake.
  17. according to Jabbers, on downwind, at 5 miles zoom on HSI, your left aircraft symbol wingtip should touch the course line running through the TACAN channel at BRC course, with you, flying downwind. The 45 turn begins when you start to see the full RUNDOWN (that is the aft part of the landing deck sloping down towards the stern of the ship, marked by a white surface). If you can see the slope, on the rundown, you simultaneously add power and a 30 degree bank to the 90 degree position and a -300/400 fpm sink rate. once past the ships wake, you quickly glance to check your alignment to the runway, point the nose to the crotch, then increase sink rate to -400/500 fpm. It happens automatically with practice.
  18. we'll have to see some info on this one. I think it is as you say. One aspect that really bothers me is the inability to save MPCD/DDIs menu orders in different master modes. Like in A-10C you can set the buttons order on the bottom ones (1-5) to FPAS/HUD/HSI/etc....
  19. when you see the controls having red/pink, this is when you need to unman these lines and remap.
  20. I stand corrected. BTW, if I select JSOW ERASE what does this do?
  21. what really pisses me off is the alignment of each station. it takes 10 minutes to align a single rack..
  22. I may have noticed a typo or maybe I don't know if its correct but the label on the fuel gauge selector for RSRV (reserve) reads RSVR (reservoir?) Has anyone noticed it? Is it correct?
  23. I guess now PRECISE is the correct mode to use.
