  1. I've spent most hours on this bird. The hiking of nosewheel feature is what really attracted me. Shes a beauty.
  2. I kind of feel that the power margin for corrections on the medium - idle portion or the medium - low portion of the throttle in this bird to be very slow to catch up. I've watched Jabbers's videos over and over and to me the notion of hitting the DMEs at the right altitudes is difficult without much responsive engine on the aforementioned throttle scales. I'm using TM T-Flight horas X even though I have TMWH but my working conditions prohibit me from carrying the behemoth warthog in my luggage as excess weight, besides, the bunk.
  3. Perhaps re-save the mission while checking all freqs working is required? I just have a silly question is ACLS working or has it not been implemented yet?
  4. thanks wizard
  5. You can not get the rearming window in flight. The weight calculation just needs few parameters to know and there are many calculators available in digitalcombatsimulator.com user files in excel that simplify this task.
  6. engineer? post?
  7. well I was determined to buy it on this sale but now, meh...
  8. because the AN/APG-68 radar is still classified.
  9. maybe use tacview and possibly create your own template?
  10. please keep in mind that the Sabers radar is a range finding device not a full fledged AN/APG-68 pulse doppler radar. It is meant to simplify gun solutions in a rear aspect engagement, not get target distance in BVR or WVR >4 nm engagements. Meaning, its not for missiles but for a tracking gun solution bouncing off the maneuvering carcass pulling Gs ahead of you.
  11. you can drone yourself with any aircraft in DCS as long as it has a targeting pod and mavericks for hellfires. I specifically want the Apache helicopter in DCS.
  12. please make sure to tune the missions to the current flight model limitations, observing EGT limits, etc... looking forward to it.
  13. awaiting you on iTunes
  14. The flaps extension caused excessive pitching nose down moments that the plane felt like its dropping like a brick and not transitioning when half was extended, full or zero to full. ED corrected that behaviour.
  15. Is it coincidental that the runway heading and thus the airport chosen for this campaign has something to do with the fact that its an Albatross model 39?
  16. So you want to rationalise the fuel usage on external tanks by prioritising certain tanks to be fed from over others?
  17. I think left handed roll ins were not used with this. My idea is that they inverted and as soon as target touched 70-80 lines meeting on top of their heads where the lines supposedly continue, they pulled back inverted and focused more on the dash because they know they were established 90° or so to the target underneath. The trick was how they performed SEM given the sabres notorious diving behaviour.
  18. youre thinking wrong. its a practice thing. On speed AoA at the middle tick is variable and depends on your configuration and weight. If you want however to nail the middle of the E, you trim for the E first then cut power and continue trimming. At least that is how I understand it.
  19. SOP when you first enter a new aircraft is to press CTRL ENTER and depress your brakes, move your controls and pause to continue mapping or invert axes.
  20. I'll average responses and set accordingly, thanks.
  21. just dont go nuts against hornets or eagles
