It makes a difference even if you install it on the same PC you play it, for those who doesnt have and additional PC

I dont have any game that supports it, i think with the last update it works on Myst remake. I made it recognize on DCS with OpenXR but i cant make it to interact with buttons, dont know if because its still on testing on OpenXR or my fault

Hand tracking works over Link, it's just DCS has not support for it

Yes, even as i think it has nothing to do with how or when the PC software updates, first time i run after reinstalling it (doing first the mod of the files) and its already the V43, which makes sense as when you dowload the installer its just an online installer and it download the last public version that is the V43

5800X3D will help on CPU limited scenario, on GPU limited ones there will make no difference -
I think it shouldn’t unless you have the wrong CAT for the loadout (CAT I with a A/G loadout), FLCS shouldn’t let you break anything

No, dont get me wrong, theres no place im saying that you guys are not working, i want to think it´s just the way you (not you, but ED) manage the PR. There is a problem with the clouds LOD on VR, theres no need of track, it´s the way the clouds are rendered, it happen to us all, lesser on ultra settings but still there, horrible on high are below, we know it, ED knows it, its just the way its designed, the same as the shadows LOD, and all the response we get its "use this killer level of detail (and still happen)", you have to understand us, the users. Yes, i know about sharing the plans early, but this it´s not a new items, its about fixing one already released that not has progressed in more than a year

Well, i think that this official position from ED, get defensive and tell us that this is the way to go... Theres no place for error, no "We know that right now its not working well, we have plans to try a different approach" or anything like that, just get defensive and trying to convince the community that this is how it should work and "hey, look at new rainbow!", thats what angers me about ED, zero transparency and zero self criticism, just this its how its done and look at the new thing i made

I love my throttle, cant tell about the stick as i use the Thrustmaster Warthog one with Virpil CM2 base

I doubt reprojection blurryness cant get much better, at the end it´s just the PC guessing what will be the next frame, if you the micromovementes due the headset tracking its even worse, but what i think can get better its the HUD and, above all, the helmet mounted sights has Scorpion, as they look horrible with reprojection an it shouldnt as they are fixed to our head

Updates are all scheduled together to simplify updates, if not there will be one update everytime a third party makes some change, its no feasible

To me going back to 2D + TIR it’s a no go, the day i get tired of the VR <profanity> of DCS, the day i will stop flying it, and believe me, i can use a 55” OLED 120hz TV for my cockpit but I still prefer VR and every time i start the game on 2D to make something on editor I love more my VR headset. I have been flying 2.5 years on VR, first with CV1, then with Quest 2 and I don’t how some of you guys say the inmersion it’s a matter of two days, i fly almost every day and I’m still amazed when i fly the Tomcat and see the insanely details or the first try of Apache, I started to laugh like a little boy that has received a Nintendo 64 from christmas. About the problem of “I can’t see the switches” I have no problems using 3 Thrustmasters MFD and all switches of my throttle base, it’s just a muscular memory thing

I would bet its just ASW kicking in, with that hardware and insanely high resolution you are always with ASW on at 1/2 framreate (thats why you have 60 fps at 120hz, ASW as another step, 1/3, and maybe it kick in when you have low GPU usage cause your system cant mantain 60 fps (that i doubt it can) Try 72hz and lock it at ASW 45hz and look at the GPU usage, you can try too disabling ASW at 120hz and you should be always maxing the GPU (at least when your GPU its not the limiting factor) -

On VR rain works, with or without OpenXR, the one that doesnt works is raindrops, but that its not a OpenXR issue, justan VR DCS one -

I see a better frametime when using FFR on my 3080ti, around 1-1.5 ms with custom settings, more if i use cull on the outer ring- 688 replies
