  1. I have begun learning this Helicopter. What a wonderful guide. Thank you.
  2. Pardon for the late-ness getting to this thread but I've been trying to do some Air2Air refueling lately and just cannot do it. I have tried while hosting mission in multiplayer and I have tried in single player missions. This issue you talk about in this thread; is it still an issue?
  3. So, you got any screenshots or video replays you'd care to share showing us struggling with this what the correct visual reference is? Last night I went boom again. I think I bounced too far up the boom but I'm not sure. I was using very fine, careful adjustments. I know I can do it, I did it with you and the 44th 10 years ago. :pilotfly:
  4. Excellent thread and answers gentlemen. Was struggling with this myself on a mission I'm working on. Now I've got some things to try. Thank you.
  5. That may indeed be the case. Solution is to have the end point have an advanced waypoint action and tell it to go back to the first waypoint, thus creating a continual loop.
  6. Good find. I new about the taxi lights but not the landing light.
  7. I would think A2A refueling would be the most difficult. Still haven't figured this one out.
  8. You can also change it in the Su-27. Hopefully the key bind for this will be added to the F-15C profile in the future.
  9. And if you want to bind it to TR, how do you do that?
  10. That seems to be the case. I've increased take-off speed and it has seemed to take off smoother now. Wonderful flight model. Loving have to work to fly it. :pilotfly:
  11. +1 First computer game I ever had was Su-27 Flanker back in 1995.. Been an ED customer and fan ever since.
  12. Well said heloguy. I completely agree. Kudos to ED!
  13. Okay, I've got a question for you guys. Just got the Su-27 today. Been testing it and mapping my HOTAS controls etc. I've noticed when taking off she really rocks from side to side really bad. Is this normal? How do you guys conduct smooth take-offs? I'm not sure if this is normal PFM behavior with this lovely bird or something is messed up with my trim. After a certain speed she becomes fairly stable after that and I can fly her nice and smooth with proper trim.
  14. That was my thinking when asking the question. They have it in the black shark, was wondering whether they'd be able to implement this in the Su-27 since it does use the same HMS.
  15. LOL, no answers. :megalol: Well I guess that is an answer in itself. Big green circle it is then.
  16. Su-27 Helmet Mounted Sight (HMS) I was curious about this piece of equipment in the upcoming Su-27 module. Has this been changed in terms of looking more real, like what we have in the Black Shark module or is that big horrible green circle still the norm?
  17. I understand that. I guess my question was really stemming from my flying the F-15C lately. As you know, we have no data link like the Russian aircraft. We do however have a nice kneeboard from which to view our nav route and major cities etc. I was just wondering and asking the developers if it would be possible to put a graphic automatically from the mission design into the kneeboard. In other words when the mission designer moves or places the bulls-eye icons in a mission, a player who is viewing his kneeboard in mission will see that bulls-eye marker for his side on the kneeboard. That way when AWACS is calling ENY aircraft in reference to the bulls-eye, one can then get a rough deduction as to where they are. Right now when you create steer points in the mission editor for the F-15C, for example, they show up in the kneeboard. Why not the bulls-eye?
  18. It is usually 15nm from your target airfield that one should call in Inbound.
  19. Got a question: With regards to bulls-eye; any chance when mission maker positions bulls-eye for both sides in scenario, the pilots looking at the kneeboard will have a graphic reference to their sides bulls-eye? That would be most helpful IMHO.
  20. I am glad to see I'm not the only one with these issues. It has been driving me nuts and keeping my flight simming with DCS short. Looking forward to the fixes with respect to this issue, hopefully sooner rather than later.
  21. Looks beautiful! I've always wanted to fly this bird in some flight simulator.
  22. As joey45 said. The Su-25 does not have toe breaks. If you look at the control stick you will see a lever at the bottom of the handle. That is actually the break control.
  23. @Ironhand My goodness! I remember you. You are an old veteran of the Flanker series. I remember those superb tutorial videos you used to do which were a staple of my virtual flying. I was actually thinking of you the other week, wondering whether you were still around and flying. Small world to see this post. Cheers to you! :)
  24. That was indeed beautiful!
