  1. Another reason is permission of the copyright holder and or relevant government Dept, needs to be acquired. Nate
  2. That is not far off how the normal cockpits are done. Nate
  3. There are no limiters in any mode for negative Pitch IIRC - the limiter is the pilot. Nate
  4. I will say that among the testers this was very well known and oft repeated as a game breaker. That said, I have no problem with any of the above, in fact it is welcomed. Nate
  5. Will take a look EDIT:- Can't seem to reproduce, can someone provide a quick mission I can use? Nate
  6. Much obliged. Nate
  7. In a way it is. It is the the clipping point of the Cockpit model <--> Aircraft Model/Rest of the world. Nate
  8. It isn't caused the graphics engine really, it is the technique used to overlay the very detailed 3D cockpit over the normal 3D model in the world. The cockpit model is only ever drawn in the F1 view as it is very Polygon intensive. One fix would be to merge the Cockpit model into the main 3d model - However the polygons used for each aircraft then would likely cripple most computers. A better fix could possibly be for the Cockpit model to react to outside light sources too, the line might not appear then? Either way there are no easy fixes due to the current architecture. Nate
  9. Sneaky putting on the Playlist - I sat there watching all of the trailers :) Nate
  10. Can you point me toward the other bugs you speak of? Nate
  11. I see it also. EDIT:- Reported. Nate
  12. Please report issue only once. From the other thread This is actually a product of the way cockpits in DCS are drawn - it has been flagged for years, present since Lock On, and will take a major reworking of Cockpit rendering technique to fix. I personally hate it too. Nate

  15. That's a great recording. Nate
  16. Hmm, I hadn't seen this thread. The 1000ft issue is known, and is not being ignored. AFAIK all documentation states that the Radar had a MINIMUM operating range of 600ft. Nate
  17. I must admit I laughed out loud when I saw that pic :) Nate
  18. Fantastic! :) Nate
  19. No need for a video - i know the problem well - I've just not been able to recreate it in a short track for the Team to examine. Nate
  20. Get me a short track - I'll get it looked at. Nate
  21. When the application was 32bit, there was not enough memory address space available to retain the Crimea and add the new portion of the Georgia map to the east. Crimea got chopped to allow for Georgia. Nate
  22. Why? Nate
  23. Not to my knowledge, I'd be surprised if it is ever addressed at this point. I can't imaging it being a priority for ED. Nate
  24. I nominate Silver Dragon. Nate
  25. Also Consider adjusting the Joystick to be less sensitive. The Default is over sensitive IMO. See PG 27 to 29 of the DCS user manual (In the start Menu under Eagle Dynamics) I usually use settings of Deadzone 10 Curvature 30 For both the Pitch and roll on the Joystick. Nate
