  1. Yep there's A-G missions. My first mission was to take out some Bridges. Loving this campaign so far. Nate
  2. Hmm, I must try that, I've been using the fixed sight exclusively because I never liked the gyro. Nate
  3. I would love more FC3 level Aircraft. I'm actually amazed there aren't any new ones. Nate
  4. Can you ping the other computer? If so - then try disabling the windows firewall temporarily on both and try DCS again. Nate
  5. Not sure if it has been mentioned but I got a big performance boost using windowed mode and same res. Nate
  6. Thanks for the long service Rich, Although I've watched many many of the vids I never got near your expertise with the Flanker. Nice to see the Knowledge being preserved on Youtube too. Nate
  7. I'd expect the Backers who paid for exclusive Alpha access during the Kickstarter will get access to an exclusive Alpha. I wouldn't begrudge them this - they've paid for it. Nate
  8. Same - but it doesn't accept my key EDIT:- I'm an idiot - didn't deleted the whole leatherneck key from regedit - working now. Nate
  9. Yes - this is what is needed - I can't get mine to work at all, in fact I've probably made it worse :) Nate
  10. Many thanks for these - will give them a spin. Nate
  11. That's cool - I'd like that implemented. Nate
  12. The limitation was for the 32bit version of the old engine - going 64bit removed the problem. Nate
  13. I always thought the Crimea was excluded due to legal issues with Lock On. That said it was so long ago now I probably imagined it. Nate
  14. There was (is?) a mod that allows this with 2 instances of DCS running - can't remember what it was called though. What you did in the editor was viewable in realtime in the game world. Nate

Stumbled across this thread - this mod is amazing work. Looking forward to it Jafa. Nate
  16. If I recall correctly, when when Track recording was optional there was no performance loss, during recording. Nate
  17. Not if the full world state at that time is taken. Imagine it as an automatic periodic save (probably not viable performance wise though). Considering all the variables that are active in a given mission, it just takes one not to be recorded correctly, to induce a butterfly effect. Track Playback has been an issue ever since Flanker 1, the amount of variables to be tracked has exploded since then. Also, updates are far far more frequent, it is impossible to expect playback compatibility between versions. A rambling, but productive discussion. :) Nate
  18. I think his point was not the lossy compression but rather the use of "Key Frames" (full state world snapshots) to periodically correct for delta deviation in the playback. Also these "Key Frames" might be a route toward the return of the much missed in mission Save feature. Nate
  19. I Don't believe it is fixable, but it also is useful for troubleshooting. Nate
  20. I don't think you'll have to do it often - I've only seen it once or twice. The issue isn't that the plane is set to uncontrolled - the Player Aircraft never spawns, as the AI is in its parking spot. Nate
  21. I've seen this where the ME gets confused with parking spots between player and AI flights. Changing the player spot and re-saving usually does the trick. Nate
  22. Much Obliged! Nate
