  1. That's correct, there is no shadows being cast onto secondary surfaces (i.e. self shadowing) in the example above. The Current Difference between the Black Sea Map and Nevada, is that the Shadowing that is drawn on the terrain is now Dynamic over time. Nate
  2. Here's a better example of the dynamic shadowing we have now. iUUTqH2uhO8 BTW The shadow casting onto secondary surfaces was never real-time, as the above is. This may change if it does get implemented. Nate
  3. The Definition of "Dynamic" means it changes with time. It is not baked, it is calculated in real-time. That said, the casting of shadow onto secondary surfaces is not present in the above, but the shadows seen are indeed dynamic and not baked. Nate
  4. The Shadowing of the terrain is indeed dynamic as stated, however the casting of shadows seems absent at present. This also may be an artistic decision, I don't know. Nate
  5. Top Notch! Nate
  6. ??? Nate
  7. Purchased. Congrats baltic_dragon. Nate
  8. Brilliant, I know a few users this will help. Nate
  9. Great Vid. I really have to get to grips with the MiG. Nate
  10. By the way, this is most definitely a "Feature", as in, it is an intended function. Now, that is not to say it is a welcome one. To be honest I don't even notice it now. I simply tap "Zoom in" and the "Zoom normal" in quick succession in a fraction of a second every time I enter the cockpit. No need for it to wait to zoom al the way out. Nate
  11. Try DCS 1.5 (it is free after all) it will most likely perform better than FC2. Nate
  12. Looking forward to this very much. Nate
  13. Hahah wow! That's an awesome fix :) Nate
  14. The mission is fixed in 1.5 EDIT:- Actually I forgot about the COOP - I'll make sure that is fixed too Nate
  15. There is a user made Dynamic campaign for the MiG-21, the only one I know of. Trees do not have collision models, but all other structures do. Nate
  16. A great Vid. I remember something similar. I had gone into EB to buy Falcon 4 and spotted Flanker 2 - I had loved Flanker 1 but never new about 2 until then. Bought it straight away. Nate
  17. I'm fairly certain that did not apply to 1.5 - only an idea of what could be done in the future due to the integrated GUI. Nate
  18. Yep - that's the latest. Nate
  19. The implementation still needs work, it's next to impossible to get the marker off your screen afterwards. Nate
  20. Its a single mission. Nate
  21. Basically 1.5 = 2.0 -Nevada. Nate
  22. Just tested this in 2.0 (or 1.5 now) 2 KAB-500 will take out a bunker. Nate
