  1. A multicrew TF-51 would be amazing as it could actually be used as a trainer. Great way to get people hooked on DCS, taking your buddy up in the free module around the new Marianas map (when we get it) would be one helluva gateway drug. Plus, it's the perfect way to teach the P-51. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. It's frustrating to double click on the screen? lol. The server browser should be sorted by your bookmarked servers. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. Well the reason for VR stutter on loading is that the image is not the priority when loading into a mission. If you had a smooth nice looking loading screen it would probably just take even longer. It's a side effect of VR, not just a DCS thing afaik. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. You might just be talking about WASD specifically, but if not, we actually can walk around using our stick and rudder controls. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. If you are talking about VR we have exactly that for world scaling. It's labeled "PD" which can be kinda misleading. I don't know what you mean by setting a FOV. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  6. And we also don't have an F-16D... ED is modeling a very specific aircraft for both the 18 and 16, Delta models are completely different, it would be a ton of work. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. Only 50k? I fired from 60 miles at 32k and my HARMs reached 80k and hit the site at 1200kts... Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. It's not built for runways :) A Viper would snap like a twig if it attempted a proper trap. Tomcat kneels down too, is she ugly? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. I agree. They should have completed the Hornet first before even getting their hands on a Viper manual. : ) Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  11. Tbh I probably just used the rudder subconscious. I fly a lot of Warbirds and rudder work is a habit. Especially in the 109. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  12. I've been flying the Hornet since release and have never even touched the yaw trim. Never needed it, just use roll and yaw is compensated for. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  13. Do you have a link to the video? This could be a completely different block of aircraft and/or pod. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah, it's even mentioned in the DCS Hornet manual. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  15. Well, how do we know it's incorrect? A BMP has a *very* small RCS compared to even a small naval vessel. With all the returns you would get from the surface of the water with any wind, I'd say it's probably near impossible to see a BMP on water outside of 5 miles, if at all. 16. As it should, or as it did? The TWS TDC behavior was wrong before, it was corrected with 2.7. To change the scan azimuth with TDC you need to use depress to tell the system to center the scan volume. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  17. I've noticed no change and I have a lot of stick time in my Hornet. I noticed the slightly changed spool up sounds though. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  18. What is stopping you from press a button on your keyboard? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  19. The logic of the NWS button changes with WoW so no, you can not disable NWS when you are in the air. Just as you can't go to ground idle with weight off wheels. I have no idea what you are referring to with (unfold landing sites) The logic has NWS turn on at touchdown with weight on wheels. IRL the NWS wouldn't be as sensitive as most would have it in the sim as we don't have the same hardware. I've never tried it, but NWS might start with any WoW so you might be able to do an two-point landing and hit the paddle switch to disable NWS before the nose gear touches the ground. I really don't know if it enables with the main gear, or the nose gear. And note this isn't how you land a Hornet. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  20. (you) Haven't, or do not, have an issue with the lightning pod? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  21. Are they even implemented? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  22. I believe that it's saying you are in range for the maverick presuming you have a target point designation. It would not account for laser range as a lot of the time Mavs aren't self lased. You could probably fire a maverick a high alt from 15 miles, but you would use a JTAC or closer aircraft for the laser. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk I've also never heard of mavs autolasing. 23. Try Lalt + c to toggle clickable cockpit Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  24. I literally said that they should fix it. What I'm saying is that it is still possible for you to use the EXP modes of you want to. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  25. No where was a hardware limitation mentioned here. Can you not just bind depress to something else? You can bind multiple controls to the same function. Just add an additional depress option for TDC depress for the times you want to use the A/G radar for now. It's not that it's unusable, it's just that the TDC behavior requirement doesn't match the setting. You can still use the A/G radar if you try. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
