http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=62166&highlight=station Thats the one. I check on the missions and campaigns forum a couple times a week to see whats new. Its a good practice for topping up on available missions  http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=165

Yup, I bought A10c about two years ago (beta day 2) and haven't run out of missions to play yet. The user made missions are very good, there is alot of talent in this community. I play Grimes's "On Station" mission often which generates random targets on the basis of number of players and loadout, its a great mission with infinite replayability. You can buy A10c and rest assured that there is plenty of content and there will be plenty more created by incredibly talented and knowledgable folks. In short, it is nigh impossible to run out of missions for A10c ;)

Any point in HDR if you use viewports?
Scarecrow replied to Scarecrow's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Your pit build is absolutely :censored: amazing. The HDR is not as taxing on my modest resolution;), it looks great if I use just a single screen. -
As the title says is there a point? What are others doing?
-
^Wow EDGE looks amazing;)
-
No DCS F15 and SU27 might:pilotfly:
-
I have a 470 and its fine, cpu is the bottleneck at the moment in DCS until EDGE and DX11 when VGA will definately be an issue for a while.

Amazing work you're the man.

Looks good, whats your current setup?

Helios question about sun bloom.
Scarecrow replied to Scarecrow's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=102490 Multi-monitor users lose out on alot of the eyecandy:cry: -
Thank you Mustang for this mod, have you made any other mods?
-
Does Helios display the MFD content of DCSA10c or is that only exportable through the sims viewport? The reason I ask is I'm sick off having no sun bloom because I run a second screen for MFD's.

Thats a solid start! I`m buying Huey next week as a primer for learning the Black Shark which has always intimidated me. Then eventually I`ll have to learn BVR which really really intimidates me, I must admit that since buying LockOn many years ago I have never so much as flown an Eagle, Mig or Su27.

Good stuff, my flight sim career started with a Saitek Cyborg 3d playin IL2 Sturmovick Forgotten Battles that was 12 years ago now. Its was only when I bought an X45 that I realised I needed Track IR. The year after that I decided I needed rudder pedals, then a G940, then Cougar MFD's, then a TM Warthog year after year so it goes:D This year I realised I need a CH throttle Quadrant for Clod and I keep looking at the thing on amazon cos I never buy on impulse, but it would be far better for immersion:music_whistling: If you want the best from DCS, now you need TIR;)
-
Wow fantastic stuff guys.

Ok the TM Warthog is excellent but you are gonna have to interact with the clickable pit, there is no way your gonna want or need to program every switch to the HOTAS. I have the Cougar MFD's stuck onto a second monitor with the MFD's displayed on the monitor and after a few months with them I realised they weren't really necessary as you never really need to interact with them in the heat of battle, unless you didn't prep correctly:) Plus it screws the HDR bloom :( The rudder issue is gonna be a problem in FC3, Huey and BS as you really need rudder control, A10c has SAS so the aircraft is fine in the air but on take off and landing you still need rudder. My advice is get the TM Warthog, rudder pedals and a track ball. Good luck dragging all that around the world:D

Well one day I hope we DCS Su25A and if DCS Wright Flyer gets made I'm gonna have to build a dedicated pit for that:) Interesting point about the loadout restrictions. At the end of the day I think it'll be more a case of sales and I'm not sure the 25A has enough mass appeal to warrant the further development to Full HD:cry: It's a shame as this old beast is a great trainer aircraft in the FC series for making you look at the guages and not rely on the HUD.

Brilliant pictures the second last one is now my new desktop:D

I haven't used any mods in DCS world and was wondering if somebody could put together a list of essential mods for 1.2.4, I've fallen way behind the times with the mod scene and I can't tell whats World and whats pre-World mods. Any help would be much appreciated
-
Using 1.2.4.12457 but I was getting this before the update, when I press the mission planner button and all I get is a pale blue screen (same shade as water on the map) got a mouse pointer, no response to the escape key or scroll wheel and I have to go into task manager to shutdown DCS (which shows up as running). Any help would be appreciated :helpsmilie:

A "Flying Legend" worthy candidate:music_whistling:

Its listed under 'flight controls' menu HTH

I used to mod FC1 alot but since getting A10c&P51 all I've done is change the FOV's. I might go and have a look to see what mods are going around now that you reminded me, thanks for the suggestion:thumbup: The Team Fusion Mod for Cliffs of Dover is the only reason I gave that game a second chance. Its amazing what modders can do for abandon ware:megalol:

It was FC 1 that drew me away from the AHog and made me love the Frogs. They are just so piggish to drive especially with an asymmetric load. Now that the A has 6DoF I want a more complete startup than CTRL_L, SHIFT_HOME. It seems pointless ramp starting any of the FC aircraft after A10c. Well I hope we see them all in Full HD eventually, I just wondered if there were any obstacles. Like I say I cant imagine there would be nearly the work involved in this as compared to F18c and eventually one glorious day F15&Su27.

Whats the chances of seeing this aircraft in full HD at some point? On the surface it seems this would be an easy one. Is anything in that aircraft classified still? Educate me please
