Hold the stick back at the start of your take off roll to lock the tail wheel, once you get up a bit of speed move the stick to neutral elevator and give a bit of right aileron to take some of the torque induced loading off the left wheel and she should respond to rudder input correctly. This tip helped me alot with my DCS P51 take off. I found it impossible to steer once the tail came up:)

I'd say if we all manage to remain respectful and constructive during the development of this project we might have some luck in this area. It would be nice to get back to better times.:)

[REPORTED] Fw 190 Cockpit Bar! (answer Post #173)
Scarecrow replied to Krupi's topic in DCS: Fw 190 D-9 Dora
This is a funny thread:) Reminds me of days gone by, I wonder when the first .50 cal thread will be:pilotfly: -
The only possible thing I can think of is Ebay perhaps an early "bricked" throttle or post a wanted add here http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=144 Also, just out of curiosity, could you post a picture of your actual throttle ?
-
I think I remember reading a thread by MSFFB2 users having similar problems. I only use my G940 for Helos and the P51 and I don't use DCS FFB I use simFFB maybe you could use that as a workaround as I believe the FFB is being worked on by ED. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=84883

Any reason to buy this if I have A-10C?
Scarecrow replied to Mattressi's topic in A-10A for DCS World
Yeah you can pretty much simulate the A experience by losing the TGP and the TAD. Then its just you, the HSI, and Mark I eyeball. This is also about the time when I lose all SA and get nailed every time;) -
Will the A-10A be the Jet for my Son and I?
Scarecrow replied to kronovan's topic in A-10A for DCS World
If the complexity of the Su25T isn't to much for the wee fella be "cool dad" and buy him FC3 which has alot of content for $19.99:thumbup: You guys can then fly the same aircraft or different aircraft, dad on CAP son on CAS. -
Give the new players something productive to do
Scarecrow replied to derammo's topic in DCS Wishlist
Bottom line is that it comes down to ED owning the Su25T distribution rights. Dumbing them down is available in Game Mode and should stay there, filling the online sim skies with "Gamed" Mig29s isn't going to enhance the online experience for simmers. ;) Sure there are better aircraft to demo in DCS world but either Ubi owns them or they are too valuable to give away for free. I'm not even sure that the 3d Su25T pit will be free; none of this stuff is cheap or easy to make. Let the kids go back to Hawx and they might decide 3-4 years down the line that they would like to learn a real flight sim. As a boy I liked flight games, even flight sims in those days were more akin to Hawx than they are to DCS . Later in life I rediscovered flight sims but it was flight games like Top Gun, 1941 and Afterburner that started it all. Steamers:lol: -
Here we are at 72,899 and I'm starting to think they are gonna pull it off and I'm really happy for the RRG team. I got a lump in my throat the first time I read the cover of 1946, as this hobby had started with IL2 FB and had been a part of my life for so long.:pilotfly: I truely wish RRG every success.

The plane set of IL2 1946 4.13 at DCS level or I-153 I-16 TB3 with antigrav pencil Bring on the DCS WWII: Crap Planes;) Or a Mossie and a map featuring Buckie airport and if they could stretch it out to include Keith that'd be great:thumbup:

Which aircraft are you most interested in?
Scarecrow replied to Griffin's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
Thunderbolt But I'll gladly buy any of the aircraft on the list. Me-262 will be a nightmare to fly in DCS. -
What are your views on public libraries? :(

Which ED 'Development' are you most looking forward too?
Scarecrow replied to Sharpe_95's topic in DCS Wishlist
EDGE and all of its edgy goodness. It'll be a crazy week when that's released. :D -
I doubt the coders have the time to consider OR support as they are still in the process of building EDGE.;) I also wonder about interacting with the radio menus and the clickable cockpit in VR. If however there is a workable solution I have money set aside for one of these.

Clear category worked for me to get those commands bindable again.

:yawn:. Stuff gets cheaper or goes on sale. If this is the worst thing that happened to you this week count yourself lucky. There are worse things on this earth than buyers remorse;)

Ok Frank ;) Love your work and I can't wait to have a hardcore Hi-Fi WWII flight sim in a DX11 period environment. :geek:

Anybody figure out how to change FOV in the new patch?
Scarecrow replied to Spitfire2170's topic in View System
Wow stuff got real fella's. This is the internet and you are both decent blokes, I think this is a failure in humor translation. -
how not to get shot down / intermediate steps
Scarecrow replied to Geezuz's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
I'm also new to the shark and whilst the temptation to use labels is high it basically reduces every mission to a shooting range excercise. Use your wingman to recon out in front you as you slowly progress along your route. Stay low i.e. 15-30 meters and use the terrain to hide. Most of all though accept that getting shot down is gonna happen and that it is ok; its all part of the sim:eek: -
Saitek Pro Flight Cessna Rudder Pedals
Scarecrow replied to GC1993's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I am a British citizen and I approve of this post:thumbup: -
Must agree the absence of PAC on the A takes away alot of its' potential. It would be a shame if this wasn't remedied in the near future:music_whistling:

TM Warthog voter here. G940 can be made better with mods, I love mine, or by selling it to someone else:lol:
