Any love to the Su-25 is good love. And I love it! -
I would not have bought it otherwise.

It's my Space Shuttle of Death. It's big, fast as stink, it's got the payload, the TF radar, the excellent A2G radar. It's just cool from stem to stern. I'm an A2G flyer, so while the F-15C does nothing for me, the F-15E is da bomb! Regardless of it's unfinished status, it's great fun to fly.

Dcs should become more keyboard and mouse friendly

Well the good thing is the flightstick awaits and when you do switch over, you're going to have a great time. Something to look forward to. -

Honestly, playing DCS with a keyboard and mouse would be like playing a first person shooter with a steering wheel. You can get a perfectly good flightstick for $30, get the Voice Attack demo for free, and your flying fun will increase 1000% on the spot. -
Exactly! I bought it the moment it was available on Steam and have been flying it as much as all other maps combined. If I was offered the chance to erase all those flights in order to get $20 back, or whatever, the answer would sure as shoot be no. Besides, whether we buy something full price, sale price, or EA, there is no guarantee we'll enjoy it in the long term. It just may not hold our interest. All that really matters is whether you're having fun with what you bought. And I've had a lot of fun with the Kola map.

I almost understand that and I'm definitely going to take your word on it.

Cool! I still remember making space ships out of big cardboard boxes back in the late 60s. If we got a fridge or stove delivered, that box immediately had windows cut in it and dial and switches drawn all over the inside. Thank god I didn't grow up with an iPhone.

Looking forward to some nice RCAF liveries for the F5 from our great skin makers.

Lacks the requisite drama.

Nerds be dat way.

It's like some people think they will be taking the plane to war and any imperfections will lead to the demise of The Empire itself. It's flightsim. Just have fun and have a nice flight. Maybe enjoy a tasty beverage while you're at it. I plan on enjoying the F-35 very much.

Egg-xactly! Is it cool, is it fun, does it feel like a good representation of the real thing? That's what matters most.
-
For me it boils down to a few key ingredients: Will it be cool, will it be fun, and will it impart the feeling of flying the real thing? If yes, that's all I need.

DCS is a flight simulator. The F-35 is an airplane. Works for me.

I'll probably skip it a I'm an A2G guy and I love my E model. But if others are happy, I'm happy.

Just a quick flash of this...
