Hello, I have the Mig-21 on free trial and I'm thinking of buying it but on Steam is says it comes with Starforce DRM. And I'm not a fan of that. Does anyone know if this is out of date and it's clean now or does it still come with Starforce DRM? Thank you.

I'm having no success installing skins on the FC Mig-15. Are the FF Mig-15 skins not compatible? Also, what is the exact file name for the Mig-15 folder? I'm using MiG-15bis_FC. Is that right? Thank you.

Ughhh! Never mind. My last three brain cells got together and figured it out. Fun little plane. Watched a few documentaries before I bought it and it makes it even more enjoyable.

...and the franmajance connects to the whazzit? I can't get the 37mm to fire no matter what I do. What black magic do you have to fix this horrible problem?

The Kola map is fantastic. And I haven't noticed the FPS hits like we got on the SA map where you might lose 50%+ of your FPS down low. On Kola I'll lose +/-15% way down low, but all in all I'm happy with the performance and it's pretty much my favourite map now.

Hey, GBU-28s are people too. Be nice. And I could also build a particle accelerator in my toaster oven, but that's as unlikely to happen as me messing with lua files.

The lack of Mavericks on the SE doesn't bother me at all. The lack of a GBU-28 makes me very sad.

Wasn't too keen on the -29 at first but I'm sure it will end up in my hangar. Especially if it's got fancy new eye-candy tech happening.

That's too bad. I really enjoy it. But it helps that it's my kinda terrain. I also really like the ORBX airfields. At first I wasn't much on Baghdad Int. I thought it was meh!, but it actually looks meh! in real life so that's that. I prefer Kola simply because I like the environment, but Iraq remains an excellent map. Can't wait to see what down south ends up looking like. I think it's going to be super nice.

I see the maps and modules being like different kinds of donuts where each requires a bite. Last night I felt like doing some landings in Iraq in the Phantom - I like when my WSO pats me on the head and tells me how great I am - and then I felt like doing some landing in Kola. And then the NTTR, Then I switched planes and did more landings on more maps. (I love landings, you see.) So I ended up in the F4, F5, F-15E, F-16, and F-18, just tooling around from map to map, different landing, different weather. Great fun. That said, the Iraq map is great! and I need an new DCS-dedicated 2TB NVME.

Uninstalled Kola? Scandalous!

I love this map! It's a work of art.

If they want to make people go full freak and throw money at ED - announce an F-105 and have it flying over a "jungle" map. That'll get the juices a flowing'.
