Any info about a Steam discount?

I don't mind if they charge for "extras", like a dynamic campaign or new cockpits for older modules. As long as it doesn't get weird like that other flightsim from years ago that charged you $1 for a scarf the pilot could wear. If ED makes good stuff, I will give them money. Simple as that.

Just had a few great flights but there was an issue. After the first landing the WSO told me the landing was as pretty as Meg Ryan. After my second landing the WSO said the landing was like stretching out on the couch. But after several more landings he had yet to say it was like stretching out on the couch with Meg Ryan. Can this please be addressed in the next update?

Yeah, I'd really like to see that one. 2 Sidewinders feels a bit anemic - even if accurate - for such a nice little fighter. I'm on the fence with that. I'd be happy if it were free, but I was also happy to cough up a few bucks to keep things getting better.

5%... 50%... 80%? Hard to say. But it looks nice. And looking nice is a big part of my DCS fun. I'm a sucker for eye candy. I want things to look as cool as possible. The F5 looks good, feels fresh, and I'm enjoying my flights. That's my $10 worth. Good reason to be thankful for our abundance and good fortune. And a great reason - and season - to remember to donate to your local food bank.

Still playing with the fog effects, trying to find the sweet spot, but it's great. At this point just give me the Kola map and the new effects and that's all I need. What a beauty. This is some great flying. The visuals are five-star!

I like the upgrade. It didn't knock my socks off, it's kinda subtle, but it's nice. Nothing stands out a whole bunch, but when you're flying you definitely feel like the plane is a fancier and bit more interesting. That works for me. On the other hand the skin selection isn't impressive. I'm sure ED could have asked a few skin guys to put together something cool and have their names listed along with the release, but that was not to be. Upgrade - good! Skin selection- meh!

I think the error he's getting with the word "mirror" showing up in the mirror, what I had with the F-86, was caused by something wrong with the launcher. ST or MT, something like that. I think that's what you told me. I'll have to check. The SU-33 bug with the mirrors was a mod issue. Edit: I stand corrected. I yield to Flappie in all things technological.
