  1. Then perhaps we need to bring it to the attention of 'moderators / devs' - I have noticed for years that contrails are only visible, at certain distances, using the zoom facility which, clearly, goes against any realism mooted by ED.
  2. Is the visibility linked to the preload radius?
  3. I think that as @sirrah, an F-16 mechanic, states that it is not possible as well as pointing out that the air intake would ingest all kinds of detrimental debris it should be accepted that this does NOT reflect reality and therefore should be investigated. Thank you. TO from grass.trk
  4. Upload the .miz file in question?
  5. It looks very cool but as I don't do carrier ops I think I'll stick with the original. (If only they would update it - sigh...)
  6. Do we lose many of the coastal airfields?
  7. Nice one ED - Great attention to detail!
  8. This is a little difficult to understand as the F-15E is currently "being sold" and yet it is possible to request a refund?
  9. Seemingly not a priority... On the subject of requested features (I have to admit being sceptical about this request) as a mission designer it would be extremely useful to know which objects, static or otherwise, have a destruction model. At the moment the ONLY way to find out is to test the ME object and make a note, a long winded and tedious process. IMHO all objects should have a destruction model. As I said, I hold little or no hope of this being addressed but try we must
  10. I have wondered this too, especially give the virtually insurmountable task of addressing the most fundamental pressing issues in ME like grouping, selecting, copying and pasting. I have mentioned before that without a total rewrite of the ME these issues will probably not be addressed in my lifetime ( am nearly 60!) I am pinning my hopes on DCS Web Editor which is soon to be released in beta format.
  11. 1. Syria 2. PG 3. Caucasus 4. Kola 5. Nevada 6. Marianas 7. Sinai (I have been so disappointed with SA that I uninstalled 4 months ago) This!
  12. Video shows RF infantry walking through a truck - clipping problem?
  13. You are very welcome!
  14. I'm certain Shadowplay isn't necessary as it would not affect the .trk file. I am using the normal bindings to move the F1 camera around the cockpit. I have made some changes to the \DCS World\Mods\aircraft\F-16C\view.lua file: Allow360rotation = true, (if was false before) limits_6DOF = {x = {-0.50,0.50},y ={-0.5,0.16},z = {-0.40,0.40},roll = 90.000000}, (these numbers change the POV although I cannot see why the affect the head movement) I'm assuming the arms / hands / legs movements correspond to the inputs you make, for example early in my video you see the throttle being pushed forward, you can also see leg movements corresponding to rudder input and visor being dropped just before the canopy?
  15. Not actually true, I flew the (SP) mission, normal F1 cockpit view throughout, saved the track file, replayed it and launched Nvidia Shadowplay and paused the video to change the camera angle when I wanted an in-cockpit-behind-the-pilot-shot. My head movements / visor up/down from the original track were reproduced.
  16. I hope this helps:
  17. I understand the frustrations associated with troubleshooting DCS problems! If you look back at my previous post with the examples of DCS kneeboards, at the end is a pic of my cockpit res settings - I have also re-attached it here - are you settings the same? I have also attached a grab of my SYSTEM settings in case there is something radically different.
  18. I downloaded this from the link you supplied and took an in-game screenshot: I would add that your approach is not conducive to collaboration.
  19. ...\Saved Games\DCS (or whatever you have called it) \Kneeboard\F-16C_50 They can be .png or .PDF I believe
  20. In game kneeboard screenshots. My cockpit res settings
  21. @WHOGX5 Point taken, I'll try a "real world aviation chart" ( I wasn't trying to argue the point )
