  3. I go clockwise to give the TGP the best chance to stay on target, Mover said it was one of his few criticisms of the Viper that tthe TGP was on the right, not the left (counter intuitive stick movement)
  4. No! If the sun is low on the horizon and you begin a right turn you can easily reproduce this, check the .trk file if you already haven't

  8. I have only ONE DCS World folder, what used to be called OB, within that folder I have the /bin-MT AND the /bin folder, it would seem redundant to maintain the /bin folder, especially if the files within this folder are also constantly being updated? Thanks

  11. This! I had 2 hornets and a E2D all set to ACE, no deck obstructions, 60 miles between the Hornets and E-2D so no slot conflict and they waved off countless times until they ran out of fuel and ditched.

  13. I don't want to get slapped down (again) for being OT but the lack of female pilot models was raised a while ago (January 2023), perhaps now that pilot models have been fleshed out a little there will be some progress there...
  14. My honest opinion is that most of us fall into the above category. I think the caveat that has become a mantra, 'It's EARLY ACCESS' backed up with the (IMHO) slightly patronising 'EA is not for everyone' stems partly from the fact that ED has no real market competitor. I cannot imagine DreamWorks Interactive (MOH) or Ubisoft (Ghost Recon) releasing something so graphically displeasing. ( I am aware you cannot compare apples with oranges)

  16. My 2c - @Hulkbust44 it sounds like you came to the Hornet first? For me it has been the opposite, I found the Hornet workflow and systems initially more challenging. With the many recent updates to the F-16s functionality, especially A2G I prefer the F-16. Obviously the Hornet will give another layer of functionality as it is carrier capable. Try them both and see what you think

  18. This has been alluded before with regard to VR but for me this is a 2D problem. There seems to be a static, ie not moving, reflection on the right side of the forward canopy, most noticeable toward sunrise or sunset. I have no mods running apart from Reshade and it is still present when Reshade is disabled. Is anyone else noticing this? Thanks in advance.
  19. If you have FC3 and the FD versions of the other aircraft there is no logical reason to buy FC4. Right - correct
  20. For balance, I have the F-16 (and the X-56 throttle) and have not experienced any problems.

I had the same problem ( I own FC3) BUT I intended to purchase FC4 - After the purchase went through and I loaded DCS I had notification to download the FC4 modules, which I did and they all work, including the new ones as expected. NOTE: I still get notification to download FC3 but I ignore it. I'm guessing this only works if you buy the FC4 upgrade.
  23. Regarding FC4 - I have FC3 and have purchased FC4, everything seems to be working within normal parameters (all the 'new' FC4 aircraft are available) however I am getting this download reminder (screenshot attached) Question: Do I need to download it or will it FUBAR the FC4 installation?

  25. Thank you for all your input! The bottom line is that ( once again) it is not possible due to the (somewhat) archaic design of ME. I could get around it cinematically id STATIC objects were allowed to have LATE ACTIVATION / GROUP ACTIVATE / DEACTIVATE - I don't understand why these states cannot be applied to statics? (Quick video for @cfrag to see)
